Pyro_Monty
The Rhodesian camo is very effective and, according to 'Fighting Manual' by former SAS trooper Peter McAlese, is often worn by the SAS. But yes... it does look pretty naff, doesn't it?
DeltaDude
Rhodesia no longer exists. However, it was home to the unit that WROTE THE BOOK on combat tracking, the Selous Scouts. One of the most overlooked, but most influential and sucessful SOF groups in history. Along with the Rhodesian Light Infantry, Rhodesian SAS, etc, etc.
Giampi
In Eritrea they have essentialy 2 kinds of uniforms: the one used for rain season (when the land is green) and the one used during dry season: You should remember that the eritrean army has very few resources (while the skill is very very high) and thats sometimes you can see soldiers wearing a mix of the uniform, t-shirt, sport clothes.......
