Why is a "guest" able to post replies?

yeah!

but I looked in the online list and saw this!!

haven'T you seen the screenie?

I looked at the screenie....but just by clicking post in a topic.. or clicking a link to a topic (in the online list) doesn't necceasarily mean that you are actually posting or looking at a topic.

The board captures every click made. It displays the last click done by everyone within the past 30 minutes. So if the last thing that guest did was to click and try to post a message, it will show up on the online viewing list as he/she is posting in that forum. In the meantime, that guest received a message that he/she doesn't have access to do that.

I have also seen where it will say that a guest is sending a PM. Same idea as above applies.

Hope that helps. :D

I think Jester operated recently under a guest account - and could still post.

no?

No.

I believe that was an unregistered account he used for a spell. :rocky:

I will be corrected if wrong, but I believe I have this right. Jester's original account was deleted. Since he had posts in the forums, THOSE posts would show up as being posted by an unregistered account.

When he came back, he was able to RE-register under Jester as that name wasn't be used (it was deleted ;) ). All his current posts will show him posting as Jester. You may have also noticed that his post count started over.
