Camel 0 Posted November 10, 2003 Share Posted November 10, 2003 My keyboard has been a major problem lately. First my ps/2 port stops working for some reason. I tried everything I could think of to fix it, including trying a different keyboard, but I just couldn't fix it. This problem left me without a keyboard for multiple days. So finaly I get a ps/2 to usb adapter and it works......but now it is ruining my gaming. For some reason now when I hold a button (either to type or run forward) there is the initial response, then a half second delay then it holds down. This has made a 1/2 second delay on almost every movement I make. Example: normal running - wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww my problem - w......wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww its like an initial tap of the button followed by holding it down. So it is actually using the button twice when I hold it down. I have tried playing with the "Speed" in Keyboard Properties, but it doesn't change. Please help, and thanks.
