Gen.Montgomery 0
I was wondering if anyone has made a Weapons mod only with the "EXACT" replica right down to the color/camo and scopes of the rifles used by the 2 Delta Snipers ( Gary Gordon & Randy Shughart ) that went to the aid of downed blackhawk pilot Mike Durant? Hooyah!! Edited November 9, 2003 by Gen.Montgomery
WytchDokta 6
AFAIK one had the Vietnam "vintage" M21, the other had an M4 SD with scope.
Lancer 1
I thought it was an M14 with an Aimpoint. If so, one is in the DVS1 mod, if my memory serves
JTF-2 0
There is an EXACT replica ( i think) of the m4 with silencer used by one of them in NMM 2.0. Great mod btw. Has good Delta skins and models also. As for the m14 type rifle, there was one pretty close in the 7.62 mod if i remember correctly. You might have to modify the texture a little to get it how you want it though.
Marcinko 1
Shouldnt be a m4. they used CARS in that conflict, as they Military confirmed, the m4 to replace grease guns and m9 pistol, and selected m16a2 carbines. The OSOK mod, has both of them
soup31314 0
Yeah its not a M-4 sd it would be a CAR-15 sd. As for the sniper rifle it was an M-21 SWS. Its a modifed version of the M-14. The version he had was upgraded even more. The SF sniper my unit had a M-21 that he had built fromt he ground up.

Gryphon 0
Well in all fairness it doesn't necessarily have to be the M-21.... Could have been an M-14 with a scope. M21s are as I understand, centrally made and certified. The guy COULD have just taken an M-14 and put a scope on it.

Gen.Montgomery 0
It's like that, but without the bi-pod, longer muzzle, desert camo finish and the aimpoint is closer to the middle. Edited November 10, 2003 by Gen.Montgomery
Gryphon 0
Don't You think You're asking for a bit much nowadays? I mean untucked pants, tigerstripes, M14 with Your specifications, flashbangs that work... It sounds to me like You're trying to put together a mod but don't want to do any work Yourself... We'll all be happy to help You but tell us why You need all this stuff and why it's so important You post new requests daily...

Gen.Montgomery 0
Sir Gryphon, i don't have any money to buy softwares like 3dsm, etc...The only thing im good at is mixing skins from the original skins that came with the game, plus im really no good with computer applications, just games and windows word. I'm just in to special forces and military stuff since the day i learned to watch TV, i have tom clancy's books: Marine and Special Forces, readers digest's Wars of the 20th century, octopus' air warfare, sniper tracking techniques and more. I'm not putting together a mod, the stuff you gave me still bears your name on it, including the folders name. Everything from you guys are stored in another folder with the name ghostreconnetmodders. I've also been watching Blackhawk Down and Tears of the Sun, ever since it was showed in theaters here up to now, as in every day. I post messages everyday, because i think for me this is my only way of repaying you guys who has helped me, by posting new ideas for me that may be old ideas for you. And i'm proud to tell all my friends that it was given by you guys from Ghostrecon.net, im asking about all those mods because im planning to download them from the downloads-equiptment if theres an existing mod of that type. Sorry if im asking too much, i just love this game, i go home after school and play it, i want it to be real and you guys make that possible. Sorry. Gryphon 0
Hey, dude, didn't mean to hurt Your feelings or anything, You know that the GR mod community is a benevolent being and we'll all help You get what You need, all I'm saying is don't be so eager You don't let us have time to complete one thing before You ask for something else You'll have CHRs with untucked pants, You will - but as with everything else done on spare time it will be done when I can get around to it and reminding me over and over again doesn't help me get done, only helps me get annoyed You're a good guy and I like Your attitude but please be aware that mods are something You sometimes have to wait for, for a long time. I've been waiting for some stuff for over a year and it still shows no signs of coming out. Basically, just give us time. We know what You want, and we will get it done.
