Nvidia's new 52.16 drivers ...

Recommended Posts

Just thought you should know that the 3d glasses (ones Rocky reviewed) and probably any other that use the 3d stereo feature, may not work once installing the new nvidia 52.16 drivers.

The only stereo drivers available are the previous 45.23 drivers, which are fine with the 45.23 Nvidia driver. Once i installed the new 52.16 driver, all stereo options in games just doesnt happen ... i reverted back to old 45.23 driver and all was ok.

Just so you know.

Calius.

Im aware that anti alaise switched on didnt seem to use up as much FPS as it did with other driver, this was in raven shield though (as this can be an fps killa) ....

I have Ti 4200 and FPS was always good in GR since i got that card so i couldnt realy tell. I did notice that the Direct X test was improved and faster (dxdiag) ....

Actualy ive upgraded of late to Direct X 9B and that certainly did help overall.

I want to update to the latest as i always have anti alais - "Quincunx" set, this is smooth looking but less of a FPS nibbler. And its been improved on the new drivers ... but like you say untill stereo drivers get updated, I wont .. i like a choice of depth with my games now :-)

Also ... anti alais i switch off with stereo .. it can corrupt and lag.
