Uf you give the guns the <Silenced>1</Silenced>, then it's almost inaudioable.

Is it possible to make it so that the shot's from a supressed AR is heard a longer distance then the very silent MP5SD?

Think I've read something about that ages ago in here, and I know that Earl was mentioned.

Doe's any one have a clue?

It'a all set up in the sound files. Not in the GUN file. Just set the Roll-off value (in meters) to how long a distance you want it to be herd. The MP5SD in GR is set to 10 meters. The M4 SOCOM in IT is set to 30.

so what is the <silenced> tag in .gun files even for if you're supposed to set the rollof manually anyway? my guess is that if an AI is standing within your rolloff, it will behave in a slightly different way.. or something.. any ideas? or is the .gun file value just redundant?
