[GRT1]Kpl.Eli
thnx, well you can still do that,.. But take your time for it, and hope your PC is up to it, cuz over a milj. polys takes its time to render, but it can be done. I have some tipps for ya, when ur interested, this to let 3dsm work a bit more efficient. kp

[GRT1]Kpl.Eli
@stalker; if i just know how to export a object as vcl, then no prob. @TeXaN; well my sytem is a AMD Ahtlon xp2200+ with 512ddr, but this 1 took also about 10 minutes to get all the files/polys/ and such rdy for rendering and took for the rendering itself about 3 minutes. Pyro_Monty
Very nice work Kpl.Eli! Might I suggest a slight reworking of the lighting? To me, the lights on the scene make it look like daylight, but the sky image (if that is what I see at the top centre) looks like night. How about giving everything that eerie moonlit appearance? That would look even better, in my opinion. Keep it up.
[GRT1]Kpl.Eli
yeah, I could do that, but it will takes ages to change something, cuz the complete scene is 1.6 milj. polys. But I can see what I can do, and see how it will look... And above all, thnx for the opinion, I can work on to that
Pyro_Monty
Cool, no problem. It looks good either way. Hey, how about this... maybe just PhotoShop out the part of sky showing a replace it with a daytime image? That would be a bit easier. Suicide Commando
That looks awesome Eli though that poly count makes my computer scared. It'd be cool if you could add some soldiers and as P_M said, change the lighting and possible that blue color in between the buildings. Other than that I think it's flawless. soup31314
Bro that thing is great. Only thing that I can see is wrong (being mech infantry) is the bradley is to thin. Bradley is a little wider then that. That one is about the width of a M113. Besides that great work textures are outstanding and the set up is great. That is the reason bradley will always beat a tank in city. Oh BTW where the dismounts? lol
[GRT1]Kpl.Eli
Here another scene I made. Used Programs: * 3d Studio Max 5 * Photoshop 6 Polycount stopped at: 1.020.192 kp

NYR_32
Awesome renders ......geeez... things like this make me want to get MAX and a full version of Photoshop...... but.... they cost way to much for me to buy. *sigh*

[GRT1]Kpl.Eli
All you need to do is take your time, dont rush. Then build the scene up bit by bit, and find new things. Cuz it isnt so difficult to make afterall. For such scene's, the Render Tutorial from Swartsz is very helpfull. Cuz that gives the scene a more realistic touch. What you also need are very high quality pictures, for the textures, and all the other textures u make yourself, as I did for the BMP and for the Bradley. For all that has got questions, or trying something like this for themselfs? well just drop a line when u come any further, or just want to have some advice. I'm more then willing to help ya'll out. Kp EDIT --> When needed I can post the the vehicles used in the 2 scene's above,...... Edited November 5, 2003 by [GRT1]Kpl.Eli
