lexsis 0
Im reading some of the tutes and Im up to a point where Im to browse for a texture for my map under 'material editor' however, the material I need to browse for should be a .rsb since thats the only kind that will work in GR. so do I need to use the .rsb plugin as I do with Adobe., do I put it in the plugin's folder in 3DSM or does it go someplace else. thnx. Zeko 33
Go to San site http://members.lycos.co.uk/sansite/ and download the map making tutorial from Mike Schell. U'll get all the info there how to configure plugin for 3D Max. There r 2 plugins, one is for Photoshop and one is for Max. They r both on Island Thunder CD. Good luck
OSO 0
Once the plugins are installed you can use the Asset Browser in Max versions 4 and 5 to browse through thumbnails. It is located on the utilities tab. It is also interactive in that you can drag and drop directly from the asset browser to the material editor.
