WytchDokta 6 Posted November 2, 2003 Share Posted November 2, 2003 (edited) They told us it wouldn't happen. They said HL wasn't coming out on the Dreamcast! WE HAVE BEEN DECEIVED!! They released HL for the Dreamcast in the US after the Dreamcast died. But I got a copy this weekend! Good ol' eBay! Only cost me £3 + postage and packing! It's even got the Blue Shift expansion (so therefore it's got the upgraded graphix)!! Trouble is, due to this gratuitous postal strike (NO, not of the Worms variety....Worms 2 and the ones after had a Post Strike similar to the airstrike....) in the UK, it may not arrive for a while.... If not, won't it be a problem running the game? (Non-PAL game on a PAL console, assuming you didn't import your Dreamcast.) Never owned a Dreamcast myself - only briefly tried it in a store once. Well, it arrived today, with the Blue Shift addon. It all works too! Hahaha, not bad considering it was only unofficially released in the US (as a beta), and I'm in the UK! Ah, the memories! The graphics are upgraded (as standard with the Blue Shift addon), but still outdated. Maybe the graphics are outdate, but HL will never be outdated! *turns Dreamcast back on and puts the HL cd back in* Well I'm off for another blast! Shenmue, Soul Calibur 1, Blue Stinger, Bleemcast - Metal Gear Solid, Evolution, Evolution 2, about 10 DCM demo disks....man, those were the days. Now if only I could find my actual DC.
