(this was on Alpha Server 2) 5 guys prone along the road on the hill bit, infront of us by about 80 metres are 9 guys on patrol, we all lie there, not firing at all, then over team speak comes the message "errr you can fire at will this isn't a stealth mission" BOOM BLAM CHITCHITCHITCHIT 5 guys, 2 support experts, 2 snipers and a rifleman all open fire, the 9 man patrol was completley wiped out in under 5 seconds!! HILARIOUS!! thats the best way to describe it unluckily though the squad with the 1st and 2nd in command went up the first entrance to the top area where the house is and got wiped out , luckily though we had the 3rd one with us whom i think was "Smokin" who was the other support guy (he had the PKM i had the M249). great fun that server is, bloody terrific it is. I've been on both sides of an ambush (in training, not for real thank God) and the volume of fire and the noise is awesome... Nice story! Started as a normal infantry (machine gunner) then went to Direct Fire Support Weapons, Mag 58 on tripod and 84 Carl...was great fun, but lots of heavy carrying...
