BlueRose_76 0
Last time visiting gr.net i noticed a slight change on the index page. Dont know if its a new thing or it was all the time before (guess not). Its the small bar on top saying more; and when you click on it you get redirected to madfinder.com . Whats about that link? If i hear the word Madfinder, my hair arise and i get a bit suspicious... Edited October 25, 2003 by BlueRose_76
NightCrawler 137
I see nothing out of the ordinary??
Specter 0
Madfinder.com is a search engine. But there is a nasty Trojan that is linked from their domain. What I would do is run your AV program, and do a Google for a couple of different Trojan Removers. I have checked every link on our pages, and nothing routes to Madfinder.com, so it is something on your local machine. I would also clear all your temp files, cookies, and history from IE first, and see if that clears up your issue. Let us know what happens.
Specter 0
I just did the same thing you did, and got none of that. You have a local problem on your machine bro. Try my suggestions. I'd say you have a virus.

Also my first thougt was that it must be local. Just was a bit scared it got hacked somehow into the server/the original site (or how you may call it)
Specter 0
I had to delete your screenshots because they messed up this page. Run an Anti-Virus scan, and get a couple Trojan Scanners and see if they find anything. I just wanted to explain why your screenies were missing. And next time, if you can, make them a bit smaller. BlueRose_76 0
It was indeed a trojan. After some cleaning that nasty little ###### is bye-bye. Strange to see tho, how this interfere in IE and visited webpages (and sets the startpagina to some adultsite on this family-shared computer... ) Thanks, BlueRose out. Rocky 1,224
That kind of crap is so annoying. People who put that code around should be brought to task.
