Ruin 17
Sorry man, that's the only way to do it. Go to their official sites though and you can download the trial versions for a temporary solution. And what crappy spelling? Software looks good to me!

Dugite 0
There is a program, Deep Paint 3D, that is set up within max and comes with Photoshop and max plugs that allows you to paint directly onto the model in 3D. You can swap between max, Photoshop and Deep paint. Its by Right Hemisphere and is a quality tool. Don't here to much about it in the GR world. In Photoshop use layers with properties set to multiply to add your cam.
Cobra6 0
Check with Whisper over at the DTD Forums... http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~damnr6/yabbse/...dex.php?board=
Ruin 17
Or, you can check the tutorials in our recon section. I recommend the VDL plug-in for camo. It allows you to work in Photoshop and apply it to the image. You can use the same technique as skinning a character, only use the gun as the wrinkles.
sleeper 0
Use the .RSB editor that came on the DS or IT expansion cds. Convert the .rsbs to .bmps, edit them with your windows paint program and then convert them back with the .RSB editor.
