The game is an absolute riot with the comments by the aliens and those warthogs are a blast to drive around in. If you are looking for pure fun, run and gun, picking up guns and ammo as you go, definitely give it a try folks. I guarantee you'll laugh your six off. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

And that 733mhz minimum cpu rating it says you need....don't worry bout it. I ran it anyway and it ran fine on my 600mhz cpu lol. You just got to lower the settings for the video. El_Nino 2 Posted October 19, 2003 Share Posted October 19, 2003 I have an MSI Geforce 4200. Didn't see anything on start up until after I turned off anti-aliasing. Apparently it's a known issue with the Geforce cards. Try turning down the anti-aliasing and try again. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Havok 30 Posted October 20, 2003 Share Posted October 20, 2003 I just checked out the demo...gameplay kinda reminds me of UT. Quite a fun little game though and runs fine on my 9200. The Warthog is definitely kool until ya roll it and flip your crew out onto their asses " I ended up finishing the campaign in the demo after getting lost for the longest time in the underground. deathmonger338 0 Posted October 22, 2003 Share Posted October 22, 2003 I subscribe to PCgamer and although they didn’t have the HALO demo in their latest issue (although they did have the Call Of Duty demo holy cow that is awesome), I would suspect that they would have it in their next 1 or 2 issues. Oh and btw shame on bungie..... they just whant the x-box verson to be the star. Actualy HALO was originally a PC only title. If you had gone to the 1999 E3 expo you would’ve seen it in all of its PC beta glory. But then Microsoft had to waltz in and buy up bungie, and in the proses made HALO an x-box only title. It is only through the hard work of the bungie team in association with Gear Box that HALO ever actually GOT to come to the PC. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
