Ruin 17
My little 10 year old sister edited her Documents folder so that I can't get in. I've tried taking it off of read-only but I can't get in. lol, this sounds pathetic but what do I need to do to make it so I can get in to organize shortcuts, start-menus etc. I've tried taking the PW off her account, chnging ehrs to limited etc and I still can't get in, what do I need to do... I want this Barbie shortcut off my desktop and on hers only, ROFL!
Specter 0
Try logging in as her. Right click on said folder, and go to the security tab, and make sure you have access to all those functions. Ones that is done, you should be able to do what you want. You also need to check the folder labeled 'All Users', and make sure the shortcut isnt there. It should be on your desktop anyway, at all, unless it is in that folder, or your folder as well.

Specter 0
@Ruin That was a dig in pure fun bro. You would be surprised at how many real experts are just totally dumbfounded by what a totally inexperinced user can manage to do. But ten year old sister and Barbie was just to good to pass up. Crimson 0
Have you tried asking your sister to take off the pw, JUST so you can take off the barbie icon... then she can put it back on. ("pwned") Sorry man, I just find it funny.
Ruin 17
I've removed her password already. I guess I log in as her and see what damage I can cause.
