Stalker
simple question: are kit restriction files server sided?? (only the host of a mp server needs them) --> I want to make a restriction file for our clan server that removes the MM1...
GRIN_Wolfsong
Yes they are server sided. I don't know if only the server need them but the ones on the server override any one the other computers if they are different.
pH.
sorry wolfsong they're not! if u change them I'm pretty sure that it wont be server sided. If u create new ones everyone without them get kicked from the server!
GRIN_Wolfsong
Odd. It has worked on my LAN server. But it was before IT and so but still... but if you say so.
pH.
ok i did a test. kit restritions aren't server sided! If overwrite them only u have the change (playersided) The thing I think u mean wolfsong and what Stalker is after is that .kit files are server sided he could edit every mm1 kit so they cant be used!
