Aussie_Terry 0 Posted October 7, 2003 Share Posted October 7, 2003 it hasn't been working since i got home at 5pm and its now 10pm, i don't know why but i have no ping and every game lags for me, and it takes ages for me to connect to a game and the game setup screen is lagging for me. im on 56k and in Australia but normally the worst lag i get is a short shot lag and the games and ubi usually load up straight away. what should i do? WOLFAnubis 0 Posted October 7, 2003 Share Posted October 7, 2003 (edited) try to tracert an IP in australia or webpage. See if the router on your dial up provider is taking an extremely long time. Go to Run> type "cmd"> in the command prompt type "tracert www.webpageofyourchoice.com" (without quotes). This will display alot of numbers and if you notice any sudden peeks (example first hop 150ms second 200ms third hop 800ms) that indicate a faulty router or switch on your ISP OR passthrough lines.
