Had 8 shots max at the end of the mission, ended up getting killed because i had it on Elite, which is not a smart idea for that particular mod, but have you ever ran out of all you ammo? with every soldier? what did you do? Start praying for starters or call a human rights group and tell them your enemy is trying to kill you and you're unarmed. I always run outta ammo sooner or later (especially with M60 & AK47) Just today I ran outta ammo on quick mission elite. I got taken hostage by a bunch of ethiopians.(got screenies!) If spawns are on just die to get more ammo or take out your binocs and do a little recon. If only they made it three slots instead of two. Grebyte No When i did it, i just ran out of ammo and then the tangos didn't shoot. Zantar45 Posted October 13, 2003 Share Posted October 13, 2003 Hell I just ran outta ammo and stumbled upon them.(more like they stumbled on me) I stayed as still as could be. When they group would walk towards me I would walk backwards. Only thing is, if you move too far away or try to run for it they light you up. Click here for my pics at bottom I havent been able to get the russians to take a prisoner yet, and the cubans shot me with a GP25 when I tried it on them. Second time, not so lucky, ended up with 3 bullets left, so i hid behind a dumpster and some boxes, untill soemone came, on bullet, he was gone, 3 more came, so I justed turned around, and let fate take care of the rest........................ I was testing something once on the caves map in WOI (trying out some change I made, I don't remember what). I had used the console command run. I finished doing whatever I was doing and I was just messing around, running all over the place shooting people. I ran up to the sandbags at the base of the hill (the one that in WOI has four men and machine guns.) Anyway, I ran over there, the enemy started shooting at me but they weren't ever coming close, so I decided to see how close I could get before they shot me. I ended up in between the sandbags with four Germans pointing guns at me, not shooting. I have a screenshot, I'll post it as soon as possible. Because the original is so damn hard and relies on stealth, you can never let the bad guys get off a shot, so you learn to kill them before they see you. On GR/DS/IT missions I rarely finish two clips of an M16 or M4. After I tampered with weapon stats for loonger shootouts I can play less carefully and routinely run low on big modded missions. But there are those times when the MP5 just doesn't perfom, and you're stuck contemplating suicide with your last frag, or going "Bungee Jumping" off the nearest high-rise.
