_1G_HiLandR 0
Hey guys tell me what you think? This is a CD cover for a hard rocking band from Kansas City. They asked me to do some cover art for them. Whats your impression? Be nice it's my first ever Edited September 29, 2003 by _1G_HiLandR
Dan 0
dam man, if thats first go id love to see the new stuff. I like 60's rock with the trippy LSD induced covers, and this is right up there with the best. Only critiscism, the eyes in the background, they either need to be sharper or fuzzier, for me they in a dodgy in between area, but i have crap eye sight, sooo... PS, the bands name?? Freak Sonit? Freak's on it?? Edited September 29, 2003 by SilentNight
magnumkp 0
Tis good, but I don't like the way the font just "sits" in space, despite the drop shadow. Maybe it is because of the bevel/emboss on it. Also the vertical type is a little distracting to my eyes. Good background images.
deadly_sniper22 0
now i don't know to much about this. I'm just a consumer giving some feedback, if you ask me, its alittle to crowed. It should be simpler then that, something thats easy, yet has a huge effect on the consumer. I recently bought a new CD, and it was prety much split in half, black on the bottom yellow on the top, and some guys standing there, but they were just black. It was simple, yet really cool Just my oppinion though, but it looks really cool, thres just to much to look at.
dekela 0
well i like it quite a bit. the only thing i would do is 1: move the eye's down a wee bit 2: maybe darken the back ground images, it seems a tad bright but they are only my thoughts cheers...... Syncopator 0
I don't like the way the font just "sits" in space, despite the drop shadow. Maybe it is because of the bevel/emboss on it Think the front looks just about there - ie. commercial level design. The inlay/back - has something about the font as KP suggests. Just needs different text input. Otherwise - fantastic job man!
_1G_HiLandR 0
Just a note of clarification, those are 2 different designs for one cover. I will continue the theme of the chosen desing gthoughout the case.
Syncopator 0
definitely the first one then IMHO.
BlueRose_76 0
Where you got the font from the first cover from? @ the design; i would add more layers so the image becomes more distorted, less clean. Good luck
