it was already on my computer when we bought it. Its found under

Start>Programs>accesories>Windows Imaging

i'm not really sure what else to tell you about it thats why i was asking you guys, to figure out what it is and what it does.

Hmmm....I have XP Pro, and dont have that program.

I have an image and fax viewer, but that's it, and it isnt even listed as a seperate proggie.

It's supposed to come standard with all Windows Operating Systems since Win95. It's called different things on different systems. On mine it is Kodak Imaging - I have Win98.

Its just a plain image viewer that comes with older Windows software. In XP a viewer is already integrated in the explorer.

Cant do anything but view any image-file (if you associated the filetype with the program).

If you need a decent viewer for browsing tons and tons of pics you might try ACDSee. Its fast, has lots of easy cataloque functions and a lot off add-ons as well.
