Kit problems when starting a private server

I'm running win XP-Pro/sp1 and just lately when I create a game no matter what kit I pick I'm allways stuck with the M-249 and frags. Running GR, both MP's and Fl-AVA 1.4. This problem just started up recently, and last night while on a public server I somehow got a free spawn with an M-60, but all my allotted spawns were with the correct riffleman kit. Tried switching server settings, game types, # of teams, kit restrictions, still same deal. Only thing I can think of ( Sujested by a friend) is reinstall GR. Any help would be cool. OK the fact you changed into a support expert with an M60 is normal, if someone drops out of the gmae and their chracter stays alive, you can assume the AI's place, so don't worry about that.

What I would try doing is deactivating all mods other than DS and IT, and see if this continues. Quick question is this happening in just SP, MP or both?

Heh, I just thought of shutting off the mods on the bus here to skool, I'll try that one. As far as that M-60 dealio last night it was a MP game where it did that, no AI. I don't normally play SP, I like MP much more. I'll try going to stock GR and see if it's a Mod Bug, the mod has been rinning fine for about 3-4 months (last time I reinstalled everything), but who knows with computers now days. Thanks.

I would try defianlty try deactivating the mod...... in regards to the characters switchiing.... if someone drops out of the game, the AI takes control of the character... when you rsn out of spawns you were given control of that character.
