I have prefabbed 26 maps with nothing on them, no textures just the required scenecenter for you all to use to make your own maps for GR. I want to make these available for Download ASAP. I have basically made the quad patch and then used a displacement modifier to make the hills. these maps have no textures at all, just a starting point for you newbies or experienced folks to go off of. Also I've included the displacement bitmaps for making the hills with the maps.

to contact me for these maps, email me at TRG_Apostle and I'll be happy to send you these prefabs for your use. There are some 27 different map options in all, all in 3dsmax5 file format. I'm going to make another sum of prefabs in the near future. You might not recognize me, but I was known as Papa6 before. Hope to hear from you interested parties soon.

****Quick note: I've had to change the file formats on all the maps because, in order for users of 3.x & 4.x to open and use them, I realised from Javamans observations that putting these maps into 3ds format( still a format of 3dsmax), you ALL should be able to open them and use them without thought to the issue of what version of 3dsmax you are using.Of course, this is my priority of this project overall. if you have special needs email me and I'll try to prefab map files to what you need. There are about 26 maps premade for all to use. Just find the one that you like, add your buildings, all textures and trees etc, then export! I put a scenecenter into the maps already but a castle needs a foundation before it can have towers right? so here are your fountdations.

I'd like to see what someone has done with one of these maps.

got a question how do you create/use dissplacement maps in terragen, i use it but dont think i ever used that feature, ive attempted to export maps and ive gotten them into 3dsx before but it just takes to much to cut down the polys.
