budgie 1
Dunno what Kuma means (apart from 'a bear' in Japanese) but it looks like a promising shooter. The gun models are ugly and the uniforms a little sharp in color, but otherwirse the screens are sweet and highly detailed. Their marketing premise is a little cruel - you get 3 missions with the box, 10 or 14 more downloadable in your trial free month and after that you have to pay a subscription to be able to download a new mission, they say, every week. They say the premise for each mission is real-world operations such as Anaconda in Afghanistan and the hunt for Saddam in Iraqi. Maybe they could merge the two into Operation Saddamaconda in Afgiraqistan. Anyway, dumb jokes aside, here's the link: KUMA WAR Edited September 17, 2003 by budgie

Ruin 17
Looks hot, but can someone explain this: Once you get the game installed on your computer, you'll then proceed to download the game's first set of 10 subscriber maps, and every week thereafter, Kuma Reality Games plans to produce an additional mission for download. Each of these missions will be based on a recent or ongoing military operation, though some may be based on hypothetical engagements based on current conditions. At the end of your trial month, you should have about 17 missions to play and four more to follow next month. Does this mean you have to continue paying for additional missions? Zantar45 0
Does this mean you have to continue paying for additional missions? I reckon so. So you should get 4 missions a month for $12-$21. (no idea how much) I wonder what happens when they start scraping the bottom of the barrel for real missions. Maybe one mission you have to gaurd a check point for a few hours?
