porschefan8 0
Why after I edit any of the skins or heads of the specialists and save them, overwriting the original, ghost recon crashes to the desktop when I try to select the character before a mission? Does this have anything to do with how you sve .rsb files in paint shop pro?? Please Help!!!! Edited September 16, 2003 by porschefan8

Avey 0
Did ya post your ike.log directly after the crash?? I'd guess that this line is causing the crash Format D3DFMT_XXXXX. But i have never seen it before so i can't help Does GR work without the mod activated?
porschefan8 0
Ok, I'll edit a skin, run ghost recon, and then post the Ike log for you. And Yes ghost recon works fine again after I revert the edited file back to the original, but instead of a mod, I make copies of the originals, then edit one of the two identical files, which is the one ghost recon uses When a mod is activated, does ghost recon use the files weren't changed in the mod, meaning that you can change one thing in a mod and still use all of the unchanged files when playing? Thanks!!!! Edited September 17, 2003 by porschefan8

Ruin 17
Are you using a converter? It looks like it's having problems exporting your RSBs. Make sure you have the Island Thunder plugin for Photoshop and PSP.
porschefan8 0
Would the problem have anything to do with using a demo version of Paint Shop Pro? No, I'm not using a converter, I'm using the rsb plugin I found in one of the skin modding tutorials on this site. Edited September 24, 2003 by porschefan8
Ruin 17
Very strange man. I doubt that's the problem. GR is acting like it doesn't support RSBs. Change the settings on the plug-in, it might work.
