None of your links work bro.

As for your problem, the only thing you can really do is dump the voodoo and get another card.

GR has always had inherent problems with voodoo cards.

And since it is all but impossible to get drivers for them anymore, they just arent worth the trouble.

@ Maximus_Anubis

There is no need to start a new thread for the same problem.... The first thread was deleted as it contained the same information as this one.

Hope you get your problem squared away. :)

according to RSE, GR isnt supposed even run on a voodoo card. I too am stuck with a voodoo card and my game wont run at all under win xp home or pro., I can only play in win98 and even still only about 50% of the time.

I get all kinds of wierd stuff happening on screen. drives me crazy but right now I aint got the money to buy a new vid card.

Hope This Helps

Just wanted to add a site to get all drivers for voodoo cards. It is www.driverguide.com I have been getting drivers from this site for a while. I presently am using a voodoo5 5500 vid card with minimal probs in GR. You can register for free with driverguide. It is a great site to find all drivers. Then once you have the new drivers go to www.techspot.com and check in guides for tweaks to set up your video card settings. www.techspot.com/tweaks/voodoo5/index.shtml

The last link is direct to tweak guide.

That is a great site for drivers, but that won't help these gentleman. The sad fact of matter is that their cards need replacing.

The Voodoo cards are pretty much worthless anymore, especially with WinXP.

Copy that!!!!

First attempt at building a game server was using some left over parts from a few friends..... I gave it everything I had to get a Voodoo 5 card to run!!!!! Trust me, it's not worth the effort!!!!

Get ya a good MMX 440 64Meg GeForce Card, it's inexpensive and runs GR very well... GR is not a graphics monster and really doesn't need a high end card to run well.... However I always buy for the future!!!! I have tried lots of graphics cards and I tend to lean towards the Radeon Pro's, however that new FX5900 looks to be a beast!!!!

TF
