  1. Hope this helps we've Been doing some more tests today, this probably gives a rough guidence, based on standard team v team play Upstream 280 5 players safe (6-7 unsafe) Upstream 384 8 players safe (9-10 unsafe) Upstream 560 10 player safe (11-12 unsafe) ---------------------------------Not tested expected--------------------------------------------- Upstream 860 15 player safe (16 dodgy) Upstream 1000 16 safe The Campain games certainly do differ from the above. 2. If it is a bandwidth issue then GRAW is extreamly heavy on net code 8.5k per client going by your 1024k upstream with 12 players, but to me that does'nt add up because if I host with 256k up I can host 8 people. And someone who had slightly more upstream than me 384k could only manage the same number of connections. There's 2 ports that the xbox uses 88 and 3072, most people know to have these open otherwise it causes NAT issues, we were trying with DMZ enabled. which wil prevent NAT issues locally. At the moment we can only speculate I suppose whats causing the issue, some have mentioned the load on the Microsoft 360 live patch server was too heavy last night, The patch server apparently diverts traffic to the hoster, but again this could be just speculation. I would like to see someone from the GRAW dev team confirming the requirements to host and join or if there is an issue they are aware of. well would be nice
  3. A fair few of us got together last night to try host some big GRAW games however even with a 10 meg downstream / upsteam of 384k we had issues with players dropping. The most we managed to acheive was 8 players, The first game we host started with 16 players in the lobby thus when starting the game we lost 9 players. This seemed to be consistant througout, tried different people hosting and different people connecting. At first we asumed it may be a port issue but even people who had DMZ enabled were dropping. We also looked into the possibility of a bandwidth upstream issue although there were no difference between a 256k and a 384k connection, the most we managed was 8 players on each. I'm not knocking GRAW by any means its probably the best game on the 360 and a superbly coded, but there does seem to be some issues with the netcoding for lager games. If anyone can suggest what may be causing this, I would love to hear from you. Regards www.mgc360.com
