max question: cant model /w max like this
swartsz replied to element11's topic in GR - General Mod Topics
Perhaps you are trying to rotate the model in the User viewport, try changing it to the Perspective viewport. -
yeah, why not? i would be interested to see how you made it and maybe other people can benifit from the tut aswell.
-
That is a very good deal, a lot less than what i payed for it. A great book i recommend to everyone using 3ds Max!

The SPR was modeled using a different picture. The inspiration i got to do the M14 animation didn't came from the Fisherman, i looked closely at the stuff from that guy from the Nuclear Dawn mod, you know who i am talking about. About the turntable, i animated everything and kept the camera in one place, the reason why you get those dark spots is because i used static lights instead of ones who rotate together with the table and model, also tried to animate the lights but i think it adds to the overall look of the animation.

Thats why the DTD hired him and pays him so well ← and he deserves every penny of it!! I have updated the website with a render of the SPR model and a animation i made of the M14 with Whispers camo-job.

Lets just say i think Whisper_44 did an amazing job on this camo and i think it suits the model perfectly. A sniper version is one of the things on my to do list. @SC, good to see you back m8, i was wondering where you were, normally you are always one of the first to reply when i post a new model....

thanks guys, over the last couple of days Whisper_44 and me have been working on perfecting the desert camo texture and we think we got it now. Here is the final texture:
