It should work fine. You just need to open up the correct ports to the computer that will act as the server.

Seeing that the cd key is not an issue, I want to put the sads on a unused pc in my home. I am running both pc's behind a Linksys router. The question is will I be able to play with folks like this? Dont want to waste my time if it wont work.

I don't know about you guys around here but I find that TDM is exactly not that. There is nothing team related. And as far as HH goes.....horrible. Maybe kit restrictions would help HH? The only mode I ever really played in [GR] was siege because it was slower paced and more tactical, not to mention fun.

I think kit restrictions will change the way the game is played. Playing HH and DM the last couple of days was retarded. The whole match every match was nothing but nades going off around you and being shot as soon as you spawn. If you guys find this fun then I am in the wrong community.

Anyway would just like to see siege and kit restrictions (almost forgot kick/ban feature) added soon before I get too impatient to mess with this game anymore. I am already back to playing AA which I don't even like.

Nevermind I figured it out. I had the software for the card set on entertainment instead of gaming.

After installing the 1.21 patch I was perusing the options and found that the extreme sound option was missing. I use a Sound Blaster X-Fi sound card and the option used to be there but now its gone. Was this extreme option removed? All I show now are low, medium, and high. Enlighten me please.

I am also running dual core (X2 4400 stock) and have no issues.

I would choice the second one that you see since its using a better way of parsing the stats and compiling them into a web page.

I dont know why your server would stop logging the stats but you could try to get autoftp from http://www.snapfiles.com set up a timed ftp session to download all the files to a local drive, install IIS, then setup another script to run the stat files and then finally setup another autoftp time to upload the files to your website or alternatly just host them using the IIS you installed to run the script. Just dont forget to to baseline the PC you will be using to host, install no-ip.com if you have a dynamic IP, give the PC that will host the website a static internal IP and forward port 80 to the IP.

Would anyone be interested in a stand alon PHP application that would ftp the files, parse them and then reupload to a webserver?

[Stats log files]

I have noticed that there is a logs folder with XML files that log stats when you play domination. My logs started on May 7th and stopped on May 15th with 24 log files. Is there a way to make the game continue to make log files to save stats. I am sure that there is a XML setting somewhere to do this but not sure where. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The files are contained here: C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter\logs

PS. I did search and found nothing I was looking for, maybe I searched wrong, dunno.

Running X2 4400 Dual Core just fine also. Too bad the game isn't MTed. I have run my dual core with both cores and also with just one core and could find no difference.

["June Patch" discussion thread]

The multiplayer is horrible (not the game itself). I was just on and there are only 21 people playing and 3 of them not playing honestly. This is very pee-poor. It is not fun at all. Then the dishonest people are very immature which pushes me away even more. I have been sitting on the fence with this game but I keep leaning to the side of not playing anymore. Just hoping the June patch will turn things around.
