  1. Teammates in SP being like GR1 definately makes you be more cautious. Definately adds to the realism and to the planning.. :)

BTW, haven't heard from the GRIN team today............I wonder what they're up to on the first day back from the bank holiday........ :shifty:

  2. The draw distance is absolutely awseome, I really can't recall seeing anything like that, with no building pop up before. Very cool movie.

    :grin1:

    Download mirror added at Filefront.

    Hey Rocky,

I see on your settings below, you've been playing GRAW for 33 hours now, uh...........something you want to tell us???..............

    Maybe its the 360 version......sorry

    Cheers!

  3. .SF Citizen Kained,Apr 17 2006, 12:55 PM]I used a lower spec machine and tried messing with the res from min to max.  It looks terrible on all setting set to minimum.  UNlike BF2 which still looks ok-ish on minimum, graw look bad and dare I say not too playable.

What was configuration of your "low spec machine" ?

    Mine personally is:

    Windows XP

    P4 2.0gb 400fsb

    128mb Nvidia 6600

768mb memory (gonna "have to" upgrade to 1.5 gb)

    19" widescreen (1440x900) LCD monitor

    Cheers!

  4. Not from the 1up preview, but the games radar preview... didn't feel it warranted it's own thread.

    Source

GRAW looks, feels and controls nearly exactly like the recent Rainbow Six: Lockdown.

I'd like to assume they're on crack, but just to appropriately over-react (got to fit in somehow)...

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

I felt the same way. I was EXTREMELY offended that ANYONE would relate GRAW with RB6 Lockdown......Lockdown was and is a complete joke.........that quote infuriates me............. :bs:

  5. He's obviously got bait on the hook, and we're nibbling at it..... :P

Nibbling?! If I could figure out what the frickin' bait is I'm gonna eat it whole! :D

I was wondering if anyone was gonna catch the "nibbling" reference. There definately isn't any "nibbling" going on in these forums......

  6. How about it means they are taking some time for a holiday?  What a concept!? :o

It just blows my mind how every little word that is said by the devs is over analyzed and conclusions made.

Hey Bo started it, these quotes are why:

The GRIN team is now heading for 4 days of Holidays and some serious and well deserved rest.

    **********************                      *********************

You guys really need to learn to pay attention  :grin3:

    See ya

He's obviously got bait on the hook, and we're nibbling at it..... :P Refer to page 1 on this topic to see how it panned out if you wish.

  7. Something has happened here in this quote: Note the sneakiness.....

The GRIN team is now heading for 4 days of Holidays and some serious and well deserved rest.

    **********************                      *********************

    and this quote as well:

You guys really need to learn to pay attention  :grin3:

    See ya

I wonder what this could all mean??? It could mean _______ or possibly _______, who knows??

I think we're all underestimating the sneakiness here......... :grin1:

    Cheers!

[Merged into existing thread - No need to start a separate thread for this...yet]

  8. Hey all,

I just noticed after watching the video again, at 2:27 into the video, the soldier backing away has a AT-4 anti-tank rocket on his back. Since we haven't heard about all the possible "extra gear" that we can carry, I found this to be really exciting.

I hope I'm not repeating something that was already noticed. Just observing... :grin1:
