Cheers. I have been gaming on GB for about 1 year and have seen some cool prizes. From wireless controllers for your clan. Limited edition Ubisoft items, cash prizes, Clan Hosting packages, etc etc. And the best part of it all is that its All FREE TO JOIN.

We have leagues and tournaments, which are normally Ubisoft sponsered and we have some great prizes. But the ladder is a general 3 month seasonal ladder for fun. But Tournaments and Leagues offer great prizes

I am Pleased to Announce that Gamebattle's has now introduced the European Blind Siege Open Ladder. This ladder will be completely separate to the current siege ladder, so teams get signing up and practicing now if you want to take part.

All the Current siege ladder rules apply. And don't forget you can still play on both ladder should you wish to do so. This ladder will not affect the current Tournament. That will be remaining as a Normal siege

Yes without any warning i am glad to announce the Gamebattles.com European Summit Strike Siege Tournament is here and sign-ups will be for all Winter Siege Ladder Teams to compete in! Ranked or Unranked. If your Not on the Ladder you will not be able to sign up for the Tourny. Sign Ups will commence immediatly and will last 1 week. Then the team brackets will be randomized once it fills. So dont panic the team your next to aint the team you'll be playing. Tournament will start approx 1 week from todays Post. So approx date for who'll you be playing will be the 18th Jan 2005
There are only 12 Places avaliable Now out of 32 so we hope to fill all spots. So if you think you have what it takes to be the Best at Siege then this is the place you need to prove it once again.
The concept is very easy and is slightly different to what we normally do. There will be no qualifying Rounds this time, each team will be randomally placed into Playoff Brackets and you'll have one attempt to progress to the next round. Once you lose thats its your out.
At the moment with it being announced so quickly there are no formal prizes as of yet, except what i can be sure of is that there will be 100xp for the Winner and a Prize banner and Crown. However i have been told that we will try and get something special during the course of the Tourny, so keep your eyes Peeled.

EU CHARITY EVENT

The time has come for the First EU Ghost Recon: AW events to take place. However this time instead of one tournament we will be running 3 along side each other! These will be:-
Siege Kick Off Event
Last Man Standing Kick Off Event
Sharpshooter Kick off Event
There is a slight twist to these tournaments, and we over in the EU are trying something a little different here; this will be a Charity focused Event for all 3 Tournaments. We will be trying to raise some charity funds along side the gameplay - playing for a good cause doesn't get better than this!. The charity decided upon is World Vision, a charity organisation helping over 100 million people in their struggle against poverty, hunger and injustice. So here's how it's going to work
Each clan will be charged a minimal £10 (14,5€) Joining Fee. This is Per clan not per member. The Winner in each tournament gets 30% of all entry fees, 70% is donated for charity.
Should we have 32 teams playing in each tournament, the winner of each will walk out with £100 in cold cash. As we have 3 tournaments and each will have its own entry fee pot, 3 teams can win this prize. One team can enter in all events by their liking, making the total pot up for grabs £300 (~440€), or more depending on the sign up amount.
70% of the entry fees will be donated to Charity in the name of all of us passionate gamers, showing we're there for a good cause. Should all tournaments fill 32 teams, the entry fees alone collect £700 for the charity.
The format for each event will be the same as previous gamebattles League events - starting in groups of four teams all teams play against their fellow groupies once, and after these three matches the playoffs are rolled on. All teams advance, a group winner playing a fourth of another group in the first round. This will quarantee all teams a minimum of 4 matches for their well placed money!
Please Note:- in Order for your clan to take part you must also be registered on the relevant ladders
And what is more - we'll be running a little side event with the tournaments, trying to raise maximal funds to be donated for the charity. There will be an individual Donation process as well, which will allow clans to donate more than £10 should they wish to do so! To help the good cause we'll have some prizes available for the high donors too, including an achievement showing in the clan page, a little bonus xp and maybe even some sponsored prizes for their extreme good being!
Please note that this is a worthy cause and we hope that all clans will participate in this great event.

Signups are open immediately! Matches will start on the week of the 3rd April. Please note that payment is due before your team will be validated, any team who hasn't paid will be removed. Lets hope this is not the case - Remember what the cause is Guys!
