  1. Just to let you know. Last night after playing a long and enjoyable Campaign coop game, the only other player in the game got kicked out of the server on the 9th map, so I took it opon myself to reboot my PC and restart the server but I received the Campaign coop server "cannot establish connection" error. He tried to create a Campaign coop server but also got the "cannot establish connection" error.
  2. I have done a search but can not find the world_info.xml file. Am I missing somthing? **Never mind I figured it out. DOH
  3. I seem to be having the same problem. It is strange that I can create a server but my buddy can not see it but once out of 10 servers refreshes, and then when he tries to connect it freezes in the connection window. We tried this for a couple of hours and he connected once but got kicked after a few moments while in the setup window. Now this might be true or the refresh might not have taken place yet but he did not even see my server until I set the ping to the maximum (3000?). He has Vista I have WinXP 64 Pro, and I could never see any server he created. We went thru the readme and manual and set all the correct ports up on the firewall and routers, I ran the demo server fine with no problems…. Strange.

  6. Had fun playing this demo, I tried assault the first time, then recon the second time. Both were fun, the flow was great. The game saw all my settings and hardware, recognized the Ageia card fine. I set everything to extreme were possible. I do wish the mouse scroll or a key stroke would zoom/un-zoom the tactical map. I see the EAX setting stays on now. The AI is a bit dumb but I wasn't playing on realistic just normal. I shot a AI and the one next to him just kept on walking looking like he was still in a conversation with his "now dead" friend. You would think that once a AI was shot (and not alone) the other AI would drop to the ground and call in a alert and the base would go hot, or you would have to shoot all the enemy in one blast with silencers on to keep you detection hidden, that is unless another AI patrols the area and sees his fallen comrades/amigos. Anyway it was fun and enjoyable IMO.

  8. Update: I purchased a Logitech premium stereo headset with the standard plugs and now I hear everything fine, all weapons sound great! So the USB version (I only used the Logitech 350) seems to cause an audio problem defaulting to generic sounds, missing out on the full atmosphere in game. **Now, I don't know if this is a Micro$oft issue related to the USB interface translation or a Creative labs card driver (I know I don't get the advanced options when using the USB headset.) or just my system board on how it decodes the USB ports data. I do know that it does effect other games as well; RB6 Vegas, ArmA, Vietcong 1&2, M$ CFS3, all these had vast sound improvments once I switched to the standard plug headset.
  9. I'm getting the same sound problem with my new Creative X-Fi card. I downloaded the latest drivers. I am using a Logitech Premium USB Headset 350 headset. (This might be the problem?) **Update: I think this has to do with my headset VS. my sound card, If I change the settings to my X-Fi card I have no sound at all, so I am forced to use the Generic settings. I will buy a "plug" version headset or find a USB to plug adaptor (never had that much luck with those) and test that and reply back with my findings.
  10. I noticed that my SLI stopped working in GRAW2. It still functions in 3dmark06. I upgraded the nVidia drivers to the latest beta 162.15 and found them unstable crashing my system when accessing the nVidia control panel so I uninstalled them and reinstalled 93.81 that were working fine. This is when the sli dissapeared from GRAW2. I ran the detection program that came with GRAW2 in hopes that it would see it again but no. Next im going to remove the game and reinstall. **Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled and yet no SLI. **Update: I downloaded a program called "nHancer" and configured the SLI for GRAW2 and now it works again.
  11. Love this demo. The fun factor is some of the best I have had in a long time, last time I got so engrossed in a game like this was playing Pterodons' "Vietcong". I normally play Coop only but the MP demo is a blast. I hope the servers’ settings will have a filter on the release so I can configure ping ratings and server styles. Keep up the great work!
  12. Does this map pack provide the 3DSMax ver. 8 plugin tool? Ahh DOH! yes it does. I should have looked closer at the new editor folder, my bad.

  17. I was wondering? I had/have 3DSMax ver. 6 and now have skipped 7 and have gotten ver. 8 but the plugin from GRIN was for ver. 7, Will that plugin work for ver. 8? I guess I just wanted to know if I have to wait for a ver. 8 plugin? Thanks.
  18. Thanks you. After loading the 1.06 retail patch (with no issues at all) I had no problems loading the 1.10 retail patch, (It is suppose to be an incremental install) everything worked like a dream, and my saved games are there and load up great. Thanks again GRIN!
