    Well, I dont see a 2.99 special anywhere, but I see 8.99 for used (which is much the same as e-bay). I went to a few other places after I posted my last and found UBI has the GOLD set for 19.99, though they rake you over the grater with shipping costs.

    I will call a freind in another state and see if he'll look for it for me..

    And thanks, I would enjoy a welcome party. LOL (*hopes that doesnt consist of 20 others standing in a circle and firing upon me*)

    I have searched everywhere, at every store in town, at every online video game store, including UBI's own store. Guess what I found...

    NOTHING!

    OK, Normally I wouldnt do this, as I am a total believer in paying for what you get, BUT...

    I will not purchase things off of E-Bay (I dont trust it) and since this game seems to not be sold by any stores, and even seems completely abandoned by UBI themselves [EDITED]

    I am at my wits end. I purchased the platinum (or whatever it was called back then) with Ghost recon and Desert Seige and then a month later, I saw the GOLD pack. I searched and searched the stores for the IT pack by itself with absolutely no luck and by the time I got around to getting ready to buy the GOLD Pack, it wasnt anywhere to be found.

    Seems like some fairly careless marketing (in my opinion) from UBI. Hell, look how old halflife is, and they are STILL selling that in great abundance. All you have to do is look.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi all, this is my first post on your wonderful forums.

    I have owned Ghost Recon for a couple years now, and have only played online once (I got lucky somehow and found people playing).

    My post is two fold.

    First, I need ask... Since I bought this game as a set, and the set at the time I purchased it was only ghost recon and desert seige, I do not own a copy of Island Thunder and it seems next to impossible to locate a copy. I am wondering if I will be able to get online and play without this expansion?

    Secondly, whatever I need to do to get to play online, how do I get online to play. I have tried the built in "Multiplayer" tab and it seems to be filled with NOTHING.

    Any answers or assistance on these topics would be greatly appreciated.
