  1. so, you say you can play this game on high settings ? btw: compare 1500 polygon ghost member versus Xbox360 15000 polygon ghost member oh, and Xbox 360, is new thing for developers....oh and Graw is using only 60% of x360 power, or wait only one processor....and i shut up now, as im not Pc or X360 fanboy ← I don't mean to be rude, but I have no idea what you're talking about. Can you be more specific? The devs already said it's using all three cores. Also, if it's only using 60% of the power, then it should have any problem running the game fluidlt, right? But it is not. It chugs along.
  2. It's great that the PC crowd is finally getting some news!! . I'm sure this game will be what us consolers wanted, if they didn't mess up the series and put the OTS view. I just have a question for you guys (and maybe RSE). If the XBOX 360 is so powerful, then why do the PC shots look so much better? I don't know much about hardware, but when I play GRAW, the framerate chugs (in multiplayer), there is no V-sync, and it takes me 5 seconds just to turn around (non responsive aiming). Has the 360 been maxed out? I know the aiming in PC games is very fast/responsive, why isn't that incorporated when in FPV on GRAW? Can the system not handle it? I miss the fluid controls, and look, of [GR] and GRIT. Will we ever get those controls with PC quality graphics? What do you guys think? and again, congrats on the stellar looking screens!!!!
  3. Does this mean the 360 is maxed out graphically? Why should they have to tone down graphics for no tearing? I thought in this generation of games, I would see shooters running at 60 frames per sec, etc. Now, it seems like the 360 is maxed out by a developer in less than six months. How is this possible? Will the PS3 be that more powerful? I love the visual, but if this system is going to last the next 5 years, I want the graphics to look even better than this! This game tears so bad, I think if they put one more polygon on the screen, the xbox faceplate will tear off!! I play on a 50 inch Panasonic industrial plasma, and tearing is killin me. Is this one of the reasons why we can't change the aiming sensitivity? I guess, I too, am expecting to much from this generation. But why not, they hype it up to be mind blowing!!
  4. Thanks for the response!! So, if I put it on Infinite, the number of enemies vary with the map selection? Do they ever stop? How will I then win (Time limit?)? Again, thanks for talking the time out. I appreciate it!! Oh, and BTW.... I had the room set up with 5 team respawns. I'll try with no respawns (just trying not to break my disc and throw my new 360 outta the window, haha). I'm the only black guy on my street, so I'm not trying to help the stereo type out, . You know, the black guy NEVER makes it to the end of the movie!!!!
  5. Hey guys, I was hosting a 16 player matches all last night. I had a blast playing teams and solo. However, the coop missions were relatively easy with 16 players. I switched the gametype over to Defend. I then put the enemy density on Low, and 35 enemies attacked. This was waaaaaayyy to easy, so I switched it to High. This didn't make much improvement because only 50 enemies attacked. I've been watch and listening to interview for the past 2 months, and the developers said when the density is on high, like 500 enemies attack. Am I missing something? On GR2 and SS, when I selected hard, 250 enemies attacked. Why is 50 the max on high density? Is that really the highest it goes?
  6. While the video is uploading, here are some New (march 2) CO-OP reviews!! There are also new VIDEOS!! http://previews.teamxbox.com/xbox-360/1283...-Warfighter/p1/ http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/692/692761p1.html http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/tom...tml?sid=6145165
  7. OK... guys, i will post the link that states there are 16 for CO-OP (as in 16 people on one team, playing against the AI. That includes the 4 missions, defend, etc.. Terrirories IS against the AI (they keep respawning)). I'm uploading it now. It'a an interview with Christian, someone else, and a "Frag Doll, who sucks at GR." It's 19:22 minutes long. I will post the link as soon as it's done.....
  8. Wow, that was an great video. You guys are doing great things with the sequel. Don't worry about the weight, rich men don't have to be skinny . Actually, I have never seen a skinny guy, hop out of a $150,000+ car before, lolol. I just have one question. I have noticed that all of the videos, the character is in fully automatic. One of the things that annoyed me about GR2, was that I had to go through a sub-menu to switch my gun to single shot. Is there one button, that we can push, to toggle between the rate of fire (like in GR/GRIT - black button)? Again, thanks for all of your hard work . I can't wait!!! Wait.... let me get my roll on.....
  9. Speaking of having the camera tighter to the body, what about this precision aiming view? Are we going to be able to play with this view activated all of the time, or is it only to zoom (and shoot) from the normal OTS. I think, if this view was activated (and locked) by the server, we can have the luxury of having and OTS view, and eliminating the OTS exploitations. Does anyone know? Can the precision aiming view be played as the primary view, and the zoom would be scoped?

  11. yep i agree moon, i think the game has improved, some of the screens out there are looking very nice indeed. ← Are you guys joking?? Shot 2 looks better than shot 1?? I've heard it all
  12. I would love to have a FPWV. It WOULD be a nice compromise for the two sides. People are already familiar with it. It shouldn't be that hard to port over from the pc version (or maybe it is). ..... so.... Christian, is it possible to have a FPWV in the 360 version?
  13. Also a very good idea!!! I don't mind ots, just make it fair. make it more a cosmetics thing, rather than totally changing the gameplay. If they draw the camera ALOT closer to the character, all three otions would be somewhat even.
  14. and let's not mention the chances of finding a FP only room. That will never happen. I can hop on SS right now and look alllllll night for a FP only view, but I guarantee you it will be a long and boring night (optimatch, looking for game, entering game, backing out bc of ots, repeat for the next 2 hours).
  15. We aren't worried about it not being an option. We are worried that we won't be able to use the option because the people using the ots have a HUGE advantage. Just like in SS and GR2, I have the option, but the people looking around corners and over obstacles, have the advantage. This is why we are asking them to bring the camera right behind the player. What's the point of having an option, when one view is so superior to the other? I hardly call it fair when someone is in fp and the other guys are in ots looking at the whole map, while safely behind something.
  16. [Edited] We are the people they are trying to sell the game to. [Edited] Third, THE MARKET DID NOT TELL THEM TO ADD THE OTS VIEW. They tried it out to mixed reviews. If you want to say more people liked it than not, then that is your opinion. The FACT of the matter is, more kids are playing GR now because it IS less tactical and more arcadey. THIS is the purpose of the DISCUSSION. Fourth, OBVIOUSLY they heard SOMETHING we were saying if they made the expansion based of off CONSUMER discussion (or complaints as you will). It was an expansion, so obviously they couldn't change the engine and the core gameplay, but they DID make the maps with more paths, etc. [Edited] [Flaming and Personal attacks are not tolerated here.]
  17. Okay... well, can you comment on the OTS view we saw in the Germany demo? Is that the final view, or are you guys still working on it?
  18. I'll add to this.... one button, rate of fire switch (Think black button from GR1/Island Thunder) movement right/left/backward is not as fast as forward movement (think GR1/Island thunder movement). The reticule is good (for the lack of aiming in controllers). Anything but the half circle that's in GR2/SS (again, we are playing with controllers). Maybe give us a choice on aiming sensitivity (ala Battlefield: Moder Combat, or Halo2). AGAIN... OTS view needs to be tweaked to ELIMINATE the ablility to see around/above obstacles (pull the camera ALOT closer to the character. Maybe only see the characters head and neck - like the E3 demo). Make the lean function more responsive (when I push left to lean, make the character lean right away, instead of a 1/2 second delay). White button should be used to talk in the lobby (with the server having the ability to cut people off, and free talk to be used in game). The server having the ability to chim in will let him calm the room down (bring order), give direction (as in map changes, respwan changes, etc. that's needed for the game). Realize that NO ONE uses the hand signals in multiplayer!! Use these buttons for talking, switch single shot/rapid fire (most important), etc.
  19. i think we should have a choice, by giving us a number for the respawns. So people play sharpshooter and go crazy because they have 10 min. of guaranteed action. If the server had the option of making a 10 min match with 5 respawns, i think that would cut down on some of the running and gunning. I don't get it because you guys had it right the first time (GR1). Why would you not give us an option for the second time (GR2/SS). Like you said, people don't want to sit and watch, so after the first 3 times they die, they will be forced to play slower. Clan matches were born on GR1, with 10 respawns for a 10 min game. PLEASE LISTEN TO US!!! or you may find yourself, by yourself. ← The gameplay we showed at X05 had 5 Team Respawns. ← Do you happen to have a comment for my first post (right before)? I appreciate you responding. I would just like to know some of the thought process at RSE. Some people say you guys only respond to the "easy" questions or complaints, but what about the serious, or in depth complaints? Also, would it be possible to tell us what you guys are looking at (the reason for the delay) for the extended three months? Are you guys trying to fix the OTS, etc?

  21. Lots of people HERE say they don't like it. I talk to and play with gamers on a weekly basis on Xbox Live that love it. They love seeing their character, and knowing for sure when they have good cover (unlike in FP). Yes, there are debates back and forth, but that is another sign that people like it. You cannot make the case that the vast majority of Xbox players do not want OTS in the game. It is planned that it will remain as a server option on 360, just like in GR2. That way gamers have a choice in the way they want to play the game, and I firmly believe that we should provide gamers choice. I don't believe in pulling a feature from a platform because gamers from another platform don't like it. On PC, the game is FP, in response to fan feedback from PC gamers, like you. Personally, when I first saw OTS a few years ago, I hated it. But playing with it, I came to like it. It gives a spacial awareness that is not present in FP, and helps to make up for the lack of precise control that you do no have when using a controller vs mouse and keyboard. Is it unrealistic? Yes. But so is FP. Neither is an accurate representation of your field of view and senses in the field. I know lots of people that like OTS that are not "kiddies." Some of them are SF operators. BTW: http://serellan.3dretreat.com/christian/history.htm ← Actually, I think you should keep the reticule that big because of the lack of control that the analog sticks have compared to the k/m. However, the view (ots) should be pulled in ALOT closer to the character (like right over his shoulder), to prevent the camera manipulation around objects. This game BARELY resumbles the video we have seen since E3. AND if you haven't noticed, more and more kiddies are starting to play this game BECAUSE you guys put in the OTS view. In the days of GR1, I could play for 3 hours and run across 10 kids. Now, I play for that same 3 hours and come across 50. This is like Halo2 (just not as good), which will kill you guys. This is not considered a serious series anymore (I'm not trying to be mean, it's just a fact). Get back your user base and stop trying to sell to the 10 yr old down the block. You guys really aren't listening. After all the complaining about looking over/around objects, and you guys show up in Germany with a demo that looks just like GR2/SS? You guys knew it enough not to make it for the PC. You guys knew it enough not to make GR3 like that for the PC.
  22. I'm not quite sure what happened to my other account name, but this is xSpadesx. Anyway, GR3 looks like GR2/SS, but with better graphics. People can still look over objects, etc. I know some people will say, "choose the FPV." This will do nothing for the advantage the OTS players have. This, along with other "arcadey" features, ruins the game for ALOT of people. The PC crowd put GR on the map, but the console players made the name grow to where it is now...... the TACTICAL console players. People fell in love with GR when it was a TACTICAL game. For the past year, RSE has turned their collective backs on the TACTICAL GR player. I can't understand how RSE doesn't get it. Have we not complained enough over the past year? Most of the players from old GR/Island Thunder, have moved on from the series just because you have "dumbed down" the game. People moving at the same speed left/right/back as they do sprinting forward ? Going through sub-menu to put the gun on single shot (which is suppose to be a BIG part of the game..... because of this, it just leads to frustration) . Looking over objects/around corners . WE WANT THE SAME EXPERIENCE THAT THE PC PLAYERS HAVE/WANT (because who knows what they are actually getting). You guys really need to get it together because alot of people are just waiting around until something else comes around (America's Army, Battlefield (360)). You let us down twice with GR/SS..... and you guys know it. Forget the media "sugar coating," there have been more complaints over your last three releases (Lockdown), then joy. MAN UP......... Give us what we want. Your going to find more NOOBS coming to this game and all of us REAL players will be elsewhere. If you guys have any question, just read all of the GR2/SS/Lockdown threads in UBI.com. You guys already know what I'm talking about..... . Thanks for the poll WhiteKnight77
