    actually what is strange is the autoplay is the directx install, not the menu. it worked fine on my desktop.

    I think its just standard GR, and standard GR disk. i've just patched to 1.4, but it didn't work before when unpatched. thanks

    I've got a new laptop, Dell Inspiron 2200, so no reason for it not working is there? please advise.
