  1. Can anyone help me with this? I've made a mod for my friends and I. We've made a bunch of kits that we like to use as old stand-bys whatever map we're in. In order not to clutter up the classes even more, I made my own MP actor, added our kits to the .kil file, added the correct face textures as well as the character files...

If I make it the top priority, everything seems to be fine. If I put even DS or IT out in front of it though, I get a CTD.

What stupid thing did I forget to do / am I missing?

    Thanks for the help.

  2. My bud and I saw this, and the problem that we've had is getting enough info on the round to build an -accurate- version of it. You really can't base it off the .50 Magnum Research Desert Eagle, because it's a totally different bullet, both in weight, and in velocity. If anyone finds both the velo and energy at both muzzle and range, I'd appreciate it, but so far, not even S&W has given that info. And it doesn't seem to show up on Winchester, Hornady, Speer, or any of the others that I check...

  3. ...but here goes. So, I'm making myself a nice little Excel sheet to make life easier for when one of my buds decides that he wants a new gun in our local mod. I'm doing fine bulldozing my way through Para's equations in the tutorial, and then I hit Dc1. And I start foaming at the mouth. :) How, exactly, does one -realistically- use the damage table? Have I taken too many rounds to the head, or am I missing something -really- basic here? As I sit with my firearms reference in my lap, I don't see anything that might correlate to that number...is it something that is completely suggestive?

Find the appropriate chance of wounding from a center-mass hit at the muzzle on the left, and look to the total damage value on the right. Use this in step 2 of the damage formula above.

What might wounding be? Hitting? Damaging? Incapacitating? Killing?

    Please help me! Somebody!

Oh yah, -all- the tutorials on this site that I've used have been phenominal. Thanks much. :D
