This "demo" isn't official and in fact it isn't demo but just 2 levels, development build made for our distribution partners only. Official version uses Steam, lobby and of course can connect to our dedicated servers which are already working and waiting for a premiere and first players.I have removed the download link. It is not official, and only leaves it open for people like myself to post bugs / issues that may of already been fixed, and possibly give the game a bad first impression for others.
I downloaded the official demo from gamershell, from the size, unzipping and install, it's the same as the none-official one imho. GG.

Can't get the pc beta, so might try for the X 360 beta unless there is pre-order only access?. Looks good though.

So did Bad Company 2 in the previews. It's much better in hardcore mode. Hopefully MOH will have something similar.
I guess it depends what crowd you get to play with?. But i mean with regards to the general feel/look of the game, look at how fast you can change your weapons in this awesome vid

Looks ok to me. I'm curious to know what other vehicles was in the convoy?, by the way are those just modern landcruisers or humvees?,and the basic US troops don't look too futuristic, basic trooper standing at the feet of the p.o.i. looks as though he's toting a scar-l?. The billows of smoke and general landscape look awesome, i wonder if they have the PhysX software implemented in GR:FS the same as GRAW?.
this is rediculous. they said OCT now its turned into spring 2011?!?
The first date of release i think was march 2010?.

Only 11 days to go to retail, have to say though, there doesn't look to be much coming out that interests me personaly on the PC, ArmA Arrowhead is very reasonably priced too, i think i'll be purchasing a copy for sure. Although i have to say;there was a mod created not too long ago that featured similar settings and taliban troops, it might of been dry south sahrani and taliban soldiers?.

Looks fun and i'm sure it will probably be one of the best looking games on the console platform. I'm hoping Crytek release all the important mod tools for the windows platform so some talented modders out there will give us some cool daytime woodland type maps to play on?. I did see a demo somewhere not too long ago of Crysis 2 gameplay out in the open with a river and a forested area in the daytime, so it could be great on the PC?. Crytek spoiled us with those awesome jungle levels/maps.I have to admit i'm personaly not too thrilled and enthused this time round with what i saw in the gameplay videos, the maps/levels look much smaller than what Crysis offered and the aliens in Crysis 2 look a tad worse than in the first game. But it does look a blast em up type of fun game.

Played it several times, its a nice change of pace.
Are you playing the PC beta?. Watching the console versions video gameplay it looks fast and frantic run and gun (not that it bothers me for this type of game). But like Parabellum mentioned, it's a pre-order to get access to play so i'll probably give it a bash later in the year.

Any news on Ubi starting to patch out the DRM on any of the games (like Settlers 7 and Assassins Creed 2)?
I have not heard anything about this myself yet, but, if they patch it out of one game they will have to do this for all their games that use the drm. I have only read a ubisoft spokesperson mention ...if they decide to do away with the drm at any stage then they would patch a game so you can play offline. But that could be 6 months to 6 years or possibly longer?.

AFAIK, the code will work at all forums that allow embedded flash videos, unless someone knows different!
i wondered if it's forum specific code allowed only?, i used to just put youtube in brackets and the specific code in between.

Thanks for the vids, in the first one Gabrielle mentions "slightly smaller maps than what you guys are used to playing on", and i still didn't get to see the fourth ghost in the demo.

Bombcast is cool too. The GR:FS demo is sure getting some coverage, don't know if anyone paid attention to the some what clutter free and clean in-game HUD?.

IGN "Best of E3" awards were released....GR:FS didn't even get a nomination in any category. Ouch.
Unlike Splinter Cell Conviction which was IGN's best of E3 winner 2009, IGN only gave Ghost Recon Future Soldier the E3 best of day 3 at the show, or one of the best of day 3. Horses for courses i guess?.

The closest you can get to a Sim experience with DIRT2 is driving cockpit view.
For sure yeah, my favourite view for the most realistic driving experience, love it, except of course when i'm distracted by the hula girl and i end up taking a nose dive into the canyon, i think the fluffy dice does that too, lol.
I'm getting addicted to it now
Just one more toke of the exhaust fumes, i'm oddly addicted to the sound of the retro siren. Great screenshots by the way.

I played the beta last night for a couple of hours and can say it did not feel like BC2 to me. From videos I had seen I expected a cut-paste of BC2 MP but it wasn't. It really doesn't feel like any Battlefield game at all. Visually an auditory there may be some similarities, but they end there.
I guess the similarity's are because DICE are working on the mp part of the game, which is cool! (pardon the pun for frostbite) (EALA uses a heavily-modified Unreal Engine 3 for Medal of Honor SP).
I'm going to try to get in on the action (if i can bag me a beta key?).
Some titbits about the beta...
weapons:
- Insurgents
- Rifleman (AK-47)
- Sniper (SVD)
- Special Ops (AKS74U)
- Coalition
- Rifleman (M16)
- Sniper (M21)
- Special Ops (M4 CQC)
Additional useable weapons are the default ones: pistol, grenade launcher, AT, C4, knife and hand grenades/smoke grenades.
Modes:
Combat Mission:
Combat Mission is an objective based game mode where Coalition forces are tasked to clear five consecutive objectives and the Insurgents must stop them from progressing.
Team Assault:
Team Assault is a Team Deathmatch mode where two sides struggle to reach a preset amount of points to win.
Maps:
Kabul City Ruins.
Helmand Valley.
MP Beta starts june 21st unless you got V.I.P BC2 for early ops.

If you have a local near video game reatil store/shop you can pre-order from there, i often do without obligation to buy. I read just recentley someone went down to GAME retail shop and asked for redeem codes for MOH beta and they gave away several to one individual for free, could be a load of tosh but worth a shot if a video game shop is near to you. Watching the gameplay of the mp moh beta is like watching Bad Company 2 really, i know the mp is developed by DICE, but anyway check out the youtube vid i posted of the gameplay?, it's console gameplay but it'll be the same as PC i guess?.

Well, according to gamershell, they reported @ 23:37 June 17th, 2010 ...Two days ago, Electronic Arts announced that Medal of Honor is now recruiting players for a massive global multiplayer beta test that starts on June 21 - players will be granted early access to two action-packed maps.
EA also announced that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 VIPs, who have pre-ordered Medal of Honor, will be able to enter the multiplayer beta even earlier; starting June 17. Once you have a beta key, visit the BETA KEY REDEMPTION PORTAL to redeem it for a code for the platform of your choice - the PC closed beta client is now locally mirrored. Medal of Honor launches on October 12, 2010 in North America and on October 15 across Europe.

The massive global multiplayer beta test that starts on June 21, it's going to be tight to get in maybe?, i got a beta key from one of the DICE devs for Bad Company 2 for free but you had to be quick on the ball. maybe this coming monday is the time to act quick to get a key, if anyone really wants to get in on the moh mp beta test?.

I`m not convinced this is the official demo at present.
And not seeing it at any of the usual download sites.
I watched this PC demo gameplay about a week ago i think? on youtube, maybe longer?, the PC demo has been out for a while now, i noticed some gamers from elsewhere on other legit forums were downloading it from so and so sites. Just checked XBOX LIVE Marketplace and no official demo for that platform available yet. The mp is locked, no matter what you try it asks you to sign in to the lobby, but as soon as you sign in it takes you right back to the sign in window, and there is a locked lock to the left of your chosen name. LAN works ok. Official full retail game has been pushed back to the 02/07/2010, it was originaly scheduled for release 24/06/2010, about two weeks to go here in the uk, will see if there is an official demo to be released before retail?. I download often from techPowerUp!, never thought of it as a dodgy site or anything, maybe it's a leaked version without mp?.

Anyone played mp yet?, is focus mode off in mp?. I thought the graphics are rather good, kinda reminds me of FarCry 1 and 2.
