  1. Great track, i like U2's version...and here's the lyrics lol There must be some way out of here Said the joker to the thief There's too much confusion here I can't get no relief Businessmen they drink my wine Plowmen dig my earth None of them know along the line What any of this is worth, yeah No reason to get excited The thief, he kindly spoke There are many here among us (here) Who think that life is but a joke But you and I, we've been through that And that is not our fate So let us not talk falsely now Because the hour is getting late Hey hey hey
  2. The generous soul will it- self be made fat, and the one freely watering [others] will himself also be freely watered.
  3. I got the UK PC DVD-ROM version of SCCT and two key codes, one on the manual and the install key code on the dvd disc. The key code on the manual must be for multiplayer? i dunno never played the game online.
  4. I know a lot of gamers don't like Battlefield 2, but BF2's large open maps plus the fact you can enter buildings (and a aircraft carrier) is awesome, so much freedom. This would be awesome too in GR:AW. But i doubt GRIN could pull this off?
  5. Will you buy GR:AW regardlees of SF? I know i will. I have played SCCT and had no problems that i recall with SF.
  6. Yeah it's complete pants of EA/DICE not to have implemented the 32 and 64 player maps in bf2 single player. Bf2 single player only supports 16 player officialy, no real story line, it's just single player practice. I think i read on some website that 32 and 64 player maps in single player the AI bots were acting erratic? hard to code the game right plus EA probably spent too much time on the game as was/is, AI bots flying jets and stuff i think they had problems. There are mods out there you can try, i have tried 32 SP mods and was good fun. You can create a 32/64 map and practice flying and c
  7. Not enough pc info/intel coming through tbh. Videos, screeenshots all part of the gamers rush.
  8. X1800XT 512MB is not that impressive imho, lockdown demo struggles maxed out with 1280 x 1024 @60HZ and 6X/4X AA: and 8X/16X AF: i should of waited for X1900XTX and i realy need FX57 or FX60, aint gonna happen though, lol can't afford it. I might have to buy 3rd party coolers and stuff and overclock to the max if i want to see/play GR:AW in all it's glory, well i imagine Grin's diesel6? to be state of the art 3D game engine. nf4 premium 4000+ sd 1gbyte 3200XL x1800xt 512mb 10k rpm hdd aud 2zs 530w psu
  9. I chose woodlands, why?, i like the smell of pine, lol. Yeah woodlands with some sheds and buildings old timber yard, maybe an underground bunker lots of tunnels, cocaine factorys, arms cache, weapons of mass destruction. check out this dude in the woodlands... ha. I found this site amusing... The ultimate soldier... http://207.254.40.20/photos.html
  10. Here's a list of the changes for the v1.2 patch in case you weren't aware yet: Update 1.2 is currently undergoing public beta testing and will be released very soon. As with the first list, this second list includes confirmed fixes only: Helicopter now carry 8 missiles rather than 14 TV-Guided missile now have a shorter range Hit points on all air vehicles has been reduced AA missile lock has been improved Support kits have had their primary weapons adjusted for accuracy Sniper kits have had their primary weapons adjusted for accuracy Anti-Tank kits have had their primary wea
  11. I can't see what the problem is with dolph dive tbh, i mean c'mon surely that's something a soldier would do in real life is to dive for cover under attack. I have done it many times in bf2 and it's saved me from a shallow grave, oh and i have seen it done in the movies lol.
  12. Excellent, this game gets better and better. I knew they were going to disallow shooting whilst jumping but i did not realise they are going to stop dolphin diving.
  13. Did you try the demo first? Can i have your copy of bf2 if you don't want it?
  14. Which video card to purchase?, there are so many. Are you a gamer? are you into video editing? If it's just general use, buy the cheapest card you can. I can't realy advise on video editing because i have never done that, maybe a google search will come up with some reviews. I have had a nvidia FX5800 128MB gfx card it was ok, played farcry low to medium settings was good enough but the card struggled to keep up. Most of last year i used a nvidia 6800GT 256MB agp gfx card was a lot better, but with new games and new game engines the 6800GT started to struggle so i had to opt for lower in game
  15. 1. Try & find cheaper tobbacco. 2. Make my own beer. 3. Eat more currys. 4. Build a faster PC. 5. Play more games. 6. Seek the truth.
  16. =warcloud=

    Hey

Allright mate, ow r yer, yeah join in bro, i do it's great, later man.
  17. I get that exact same feeling as what that geezer wrote, lol, when ever i'm on the Battlefield 2 killing fields, and i don't pay ought.
  18. Say what you think bro just be constructive, i'm allways interested to know why a game does not appeal to someone. I must be very fortunate when it comes to games because all the games i have got i can't think of any one of them that i don't like, the only problem i have is that i get bored playing them after a while, most of the games i got like GR1, RvS, farcry, hl2, riddick efbb, doom3, splinter cell series, swat4, FTF, etc are in a box somewhere or on a shelf collecting dust. Sometimes i'll dig out one of those games install it play it for a few days maybe a couple of weeks, then i'm bored
  19. Try the demo first, i personally love the game. It's nothing like ghost recon it's mainly capturing control points and defending flags, i love the chaotic fights, it's state of the art 3dgame technology and i also like the vehicles infact to me they are awesome, the game is not to everyones liking, so try the demo before you buy, oh and the helicopters are awesome if you like flying.
  20. Wait...so in the game or patch they put software on your computer that tracks you, chomping at your bandwidth, causing lag etc? is that one way to put it? I read somewhere once about SWAT4 having ads in game, like that annoying poster of 50 cents, i thought it was just that kind of advertising, according to that link it says the software spyware adware tracks you, sends information back to the spy, or big brother as they say. If that is correct then that's bad news. Is what i'm thinking correct-ish?
  21. Aye but look how quick pc R6 lockdown is taking off, we were all waiting for info, in game footage etc, now we got loads to go on. So i'm going to keep optimistic about GR:AW.
  22. Well ok if its less intrusive i'll take 2 copies.
  23. Is starforce on GR:AW PC CD/DVD? after reading about SF i'm not quite sure if i'll buy the game as soon as its in retail outlets/shops and the same goes for RvS6 lockdown. I may wait to see how others get on installing GR:AW. I wish i never read about Starforce to be honest, but then again on the other hand i'm glad i did. So come on UBI get your bloody act together and sort this out once and for all.
  24. Have you seen these demo's? http://www.ageia.com/physxInAction/demos.html
