=warcloud= replied to squad_e's topic in Military Tactical Realism Titles
Did they give you a new sealed copy? Where did they get the new serial key? -
Have you tried going into tools, options, maybe adjust network and performance settings? worth a bash i guess?

This is due out soon is it not? I wonder if this hardware's manufacturing is part of GRAW pc delay?

I'm not suprised at fifty quid a shot, absolutely hate having to pay over twenty quid for a pc title.

My serial key is on a white sticker on the inside of the case. I will only buy a game that is factory/security sealed. -
Oops, GRAW aaaahh (Windows Media Player cannot play the file because it is corrupted), and checked for codec updates but cannot play final mission vid wmv says, Windows Media Player cannot play the file. One or more codecs required to play the file could not be found. Checked for updates but no joy. Never mind, thx anyway.

I got this game last feb 2k5, it's a good shooter, shame destineer did not provide an expansion or sdk/mod tools. According to Degs, the FTF forum mod, only 9 programmers that made this game 10 including one Mac programmer for porting the code. That's half to a third of what most of these companies you refer have for programmers, a realy good effort imo. The engine was built from scratch, don't know how long it took them to make cc:ftf. I wonder why he aint welcome? Andy McNab, author of nine Sunday Times bestsellers, left school with no qualifications and joined the infantry as a boy soldier. In 1984 he was badged to 22 SAS Regiment and during the first Gulf War commanded an eight-man patrol tasked with destroying mobile Scud missile launchers – a mission which led to the deaths of three of his men and the capture and savage torture of four – including McNab. For their conduct, the Bravo Two Zero patrol became the most highly-decorated since the Boer War, and McNab’s account of the operation became the best-selling

=warcloud= replied to Hatchetforce's topic in Military Tactical Realism Titles
First time initiate bang & clear room i forgot to switch to gold team, and only red team responded to room takedown, and they got wasted, lol. Yeah subway level is tuff even on normal (50 score) to advance to next level, first time round. Took my time in DrugLab, was doing fairly ok, last tango ran deep into the level, didn't know where the hell he was hiding, no help from the sniper neither, anywayz his bullets found me in the end, damn, lol. -
Awesome, outstanding. I wish i could hot wire a mouse into the 360, heh heh.

Hardware illeterate - need some advice
=warcloud= replied to PrimusPilus's topic in Computer Discussions
If you are into pc gaming and money is no object then go ATI crossfire or Nvidia sli for graphics. Best bet is to do some research. I often visit this website http://www.overclockers.co.uk/ to see the hardware, and visit the forum http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/ to get info from staff and user reviews. Vista and DX10 gaming, well some say it's a fair way to go yet? http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17547662 -

Does the pc version share the same story line? XBOX360 storyline, taken from teamXBOX360 review A military coup has taken place... The urban areas are the most impressive due to their sheer size and level of detail, and although the streets are barren of pedestrians during this tumultuous time, there are a lot of ambient sound effects in place to suggest some of the population is still around. For instance, on one level of the game, as the Ghosts make their way to town square area, a baby can be heard crying in the distance. Moving closer to the center of the map, the crying becomes l

More detail on the backstory.... Is there any?
=warcloud= replied to chilly-willy's topic in GR:AW (PC) - General Discussion
I'm sure pc shares the same story as 360, but i'm not 100% sure. As you are aware there is not much info on the pc, don't know how many missions in the pc version. Anywayz this below was copied and pasted from teamXBOX review. Story Briefing... XBOX360... During a recent summit between the Mexican and United States Presidents, a military coup has taken place, leaving both men in quite a sticky situation. The Ghosts are ordered to Mexico City, where they will need to rescue both Presidents, while eliminating the military insurgents who have threatened to take control of the city. As Capt
