  1. Not really, from what i can tell it is the sequel to the xbox360 and ps3 battlefield bad company video game. Cool, in a month or maybe longer a pc sp/mp demo might show up?.
  2. I had a play with the pc beta on a 3.6ghz quad cpu, 4870X2 graphics, not that impressed really, probably not my type of game?, net code is so so, graphics are sub par, audio is mediocre but the explosion are fun to watch. Maybe the pc sp demo will be better thought out?, if there is to be a sp demo that is?.
  3. EDIT: Scrub this drm / protection, i'm out for the time being. EDIT 2: Doesn't seem so bad, i'm in
  4. Don't know mate. He mentioned 100% gpu usage after patch, i get the crazy ati 100% fan spin up before patch, infact i get this a lot in most of the fps games i play.
  5. I can't see a sp or coop demo before or after retail imho. It takes time and effort to make one and then how will it work out with the constant live connection to their servers?, a lot of work just for a demo.
  6. I didn't experiance a meltdown but yeah my 4870X2 fan goes bonkers in the menu, even in the ofdr demo. ATI's graphics cards have allways been like this for me, their fans/cooling designs are notoriously loud, for me anyway.
  7. 179mb file, i don't know why but my download speeds are really slow at the mo, do you have a youtube channel to watch it in mate?.
  8. And activate the game no doubt. For single player i can understand the possible frustrations for legit users if a server was to bug out big time but in this day and age i can't see this happening every other day. With regards to the save games this should infuriate the pirates. I would think you have the right to play your game when you want to. I can understand why we first look at the possible negative issues with this type of drm / protection. To be fair though, i doubt auto save will be every two hours, there may even be an option to save you
  9. I hear this all the time, don't mean to offend you m8 but that is a cop out. Everybody can read about any game in development, and closer to release more info comes out on the games as well as screenshots and previews and reviews. Don't like what you read or see or hear...then you have the option to not buy.
  10. I wonder what engine they will use?, lets hope they do a good job with dx 10 & 11.
  11. Depends what you want to use it for. A tac-sim with tpv that works very well, a game appreciated by many. I hope we get mod tools and dedicated server files with ghost recon future soldier. Me too.
  12. Just checking out some of the possible locales in the vid. I spotted norway, moscow russia, berlin germany, afghanistan pakistan border, saudi arabia. What is this? Me too.
  13. Not too happy about that to be honest, but if that's the order of the day to play then take it or leave it i suppose. Looking forward to splinter cell conviction (pc version), i hope their servers are regularly maintained lol.
  14. I hear the uk release date is april 16th. Will there be a pc demo to try out maybe?, i hear ubisoft have a new digital rights management system for their pc games, i can understand the reasons for online play but not so sure about having to stay connected to their servers to play single player, i like steams option to play offline.
  15. Has anyone tried the beta?, i couldn't get it to work on xp 32 bit.
  16. Serious?, if so ok no probs. I was just about to post a picture i have.
  17. I watched the bbc1 report the other day, quite shocking really. Looking at his home and goods, he sure made a lot of money.
  18. A lot of money went into development of (GSR) S10. Thanks for the heads up. Edit: Got it wrong, the new GSR replaces the S10, £63 million investment and nine years of intensive development.
  19. Checking out free roam, it is possible...[Release] Ultimate Free Roam Mission - Codemasters Forums
  20. Cryengine 3 and ati eyefinity Crytek | MyCryENGINE
  21. You mean the multiplayer part of the game had a bad start for those that enjoy competetive online matches. The single player part is solid enough for me personaly, had no major issues from start to finish of the campaign and plenty of user made missions too. A great sp game, one of the best for me.
  22. Thanks for the heads up on the patch. I have installed it, going to try out the eagle wing soon but i did just try a quick single player mission and not really noticed any difference other than the EW. ArmA 2 with out a doubt needs a minimum of 3GHz dual or quad cpu for average performance, especialy at higher video/resolution settings.
  23. Have not noticed this, but then again i tend to run out of ammo very rapidly for the magnum, and then i never seem to find any ammo anywhere hidden or dropped from enemys. I'm struggling with this game, maybe it's because i'm never quite sure what weapon to load out when i get the option to do so. I tend to always carry and upgrade any of the smaller firearms because that way i'm gauranteed to find ammunition. I never noticed until you pointed that out. You can do mate, i have not found many to be honest.
  24. Anyone know what version of unreal tech it's using?.
