If you pick up a copy of Conviction, an exclusive beta invitation for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is included.
Not in the UK mate, i have the XBOX 360 version of Splinter Cell Conviction and nowhere does it mention "exclusive" outside or inside the box or even on the disc itself lol.

Seriously though, i'm looking forward to a demo to try out (360 and pc?). I wonder if this is a nvidia title with physX support?. I wonder what game engine the sp campaign will use?, i'm hoping it's not the dice frostbite engine?.

Sniper Ghost Warrior is going to hit the stores mid June.
Retail only for the XBOX 360 though, oh well never mind. I just hate steam; it's rubbish and takes too long to download large files for me. If its fairly cheap i might grab a copy for the 360, too dear and i'll wait for a cheap pre-owned later down the line.
No news of a demo maybe, no information on retail products at any of my local video game shops, is this game a hoax

IOk, well Ubisoft hasn't removed the single player drm /permanent internet connection just yet but good news is that someone is already making mods of sorts, mainly texture mods like new green night vision and darker suits , and the beauty of it is you can do this with texmod, which according to those on the official ubisoft splinter cell conviction forum is all you need and you don't need the game launcher.
EDIT: It turns out that maybe the person/s using texmod also was using an unauthorized crack to run the game, tut tut if so.

By the looks of things this is going to be the norm in the future for most console game companys, not sure about pc?. When you rent a game you will only have access to single player content and i wonder how much you will be able to play of the sp content?. To play multiplayer you will have to pay a one off fee to compete in online play;and the same goes for pre-owned games. So this begs the question ...how much will a pre-owned game sell for?, will it be worth selling?, so maybe you will see less pre-owned games and a more constant steady stream of dlc?.

Delays are nothing new, Ghost Recon Future Soldier will be awesome, for me anyway hehe. More time for tweaks, polish, creative development. Really looking forward to this game, and hope to try out a demo in the not too distant future.

I have the steam version of dirt2, i got it as a gift, i hate steam for large file downloads, it takes ages downloading from their overseas servers, took me two to three days on and off with a 10mb optic fibre cable. Been looking for ages to buy a retail copy because it loads so much faster (in less than 40 mins), no joy finding a retail copy. The windowed mode was a pain in the rear for crt monitors but all you had to do was hit alt + enter on keyboard and it switches to full screen. Steam + gfwl is a bad combination for me.

Driven like a pro, just that one fault at around 2:30 in, Utah is a fast course, one of my favourite. Didn't notice this thread before, i have shift and dirt2 i think dirt 2 is the better driving experience, more fun anyway and the cars in general handle better than shift's, the default car handling in shift is attrocious, but you can tweak to suit. the graphics win hands down in dirt2 although the blur effect in shift as you come up to fast speed is cool.

It's not downloadable content per se, it's Unlockables. Downloadable content will be the insurgency pack.

Splinter Cell Conviction is a superb action stealth game on the XBOX 360 and PC, well done Ubisoft, brilliant work by Monsieur Beland & his co-workers, thanks nice one people.

Simply put, if you like open/sand box/free roam games like this, you must own this game! It is amazing!
I guess you would have to like playing cowboys & indians too.
I'll wait for a PC port.

Hope you guys get a pc version, i just found out they cancelled the pc version of Alan Wake, but i have heard wake is mediocre game?.

Well, i guess it's all hands on deck with black-ops, although, personaly i'm really looking forward to another Modern Warfare, not sure i'll like the era in black-ops?.

The real life promo was awesome, the making of a top notch movie i reckon. looking forward to F.3.A.R, hope they use the latest DirectX and advancing game technology.

Other peoples opinions not being to your taste does not give you justification for making personally demeaning comments. If you don't like a persons post just skip it. No one is 'forcing' you to read it.

Sorry if you don't like our point of view but we like to express ourselfs on the matter, especiall when it concerns the bastardisation of the best game we every played.
Don't be such a drama queen, i'm entitled to an opinion, a reply etc etc, if ROCKY or a mod dislikes me for whatever reason then i guess i'll get a ban?. There was no malice or the likes, so sit back and relax dude. This sort of banter is common on chat game forums. just because some don't get what some wanted or something has changed that they don't like, to put it simply, then it's undestandable that angry emotions fly and gamers are feeling despondent etc and want to air their views dislikes etc etc, but a continuation of stupid remarks and drivel is over the top imho and why should we who like a said product or a fresh change/new direction, or something a little bit different etc, be made to feel some what disparaged by remarks as "kiddies" etc etc. It's every where you go now days, i'm having the same issues with stupid immature remarks on the official Splinter Cell Conviction forum.

GR4 eh , hopefully this time it will be run by someone who has atleast played the orignal GR - the standard by which all the others are STILL judged; as oppose to some idiot from a console background.

Oops, haha, I have fixed/edited that now. Actualy it was not meant as an insult per se, just pointing out how immature some comments can be. It's very clear how some/many feel about ghost recon future soldier, but it just gets annoying having to read or hear repeated drivel.
I realise that GR:FS being delayed once again is not what we want to hear.
Individuals who harp on about the same thing over and over again is somewhat vexatious and not what we want to hear or read all the time.

Oh my days, your comments are as juvenile as some of those delinquent/idiotic posts at the official site.Always look on the bright side kiddies...this delay could give Ubisofts' creative dept. enough time to include a teleporter to the mix.
Then don't buy said games, simple as really.you get a game that is so dumbed down it hurts to play it. -

I got a free XBOX 360 version of AC2 and SCC, but i didn't like AC2, i just couldn't get into the gameplay, i guess i don't like the era or the religious undertones?, not keen on old italy too i suppose, and i didn't like the graphics, very bland graphics on the xbox360, so i gave AC2 away, splinter cell conviction on the other hand is brilliant, i really enjoy playing conviction and the graphics are top notch imho on the 360 and pc. The pc version of AC2 obviously has much better graphics going by thales screenshots.
