[Look back and laugh most embarrassing death]

Oh, I got one to beat all you guys out. Playing on GR2:SS on Live, I was behind a buddy of mine. I even said 'I got your back, man'.

Okay, so we're walking along in Ghost Village, and all of the sudden, a guy pops out of nowhere. Of course, my instincts kick in and I start firing. Unfortunately, since I had my buddy's back, I shot him in the back of the head and was killed by the guy storming around the corner. Right when I died, he said into the mic 'I thought you had my back, man.'

We must've laughed at that for at least three or four minutes, and he'll never let me live that one down. (Actually, it happened again to a friend of ours, I shot him in the back too, but I actually killed the other guy this time)

[Sig Request Thread]

I suppose I'll start taking in requests for sigs, but only under a standard sig-making rubric:

1. Text (Tell me the name and quote that you would like to appear on your signature)

2. General Color (What main color would you want on your sig? Note that I will change the color if I don't see that it fits)

3. Render or theme (What picture do you want? What theme would you like the signature to centralize around? If possible, give me a specific name and/or a link to a picture and I'll try to work with it)

4. Style (Grunge/Heavy Grunge/Abstract... I don't do tech.)

5. Matching Avatar (Would you like a matching avatar to go with the signature? Don't ask after the sig is already made)

6. Size (How big do you want it in pixels? My standard (for this forum) is 400x100, so if you want another size, specify.)

If these rules aren't followed, don't expect a sig made. First come, first serve, and all requests will be filled out when I'm not doing something important, such as owning in GR2:SS on Live (Gamertag Disbelieve) or homework.

EDIT: Oops, changed the size. Suppose I'll have to change my current now... eh.

I don't know, it doesn't seem real that a speech like that could come forth from an every-day person. I don't find it cheesy, maybe immature people do. If the Judge actually did say that and it was a real encounter, then it was truly amazing.

Unfortunately, I would have worded it differently, attacking the true core of Islam and how devastatingly wrong the radicals are. They consider us infidels, although in the past civilizations, and even in the Quran itself, it was reported that Christians, Jews, and Muslims are closely interrelated, the Quran tells of a time where all three would worship in the same temple, and they are all 'People of the Book'. Hell, the Quran is practically the same as the Old Testament, relating to the myths of Noah, Moses, Adam, Joseph, and so on and Allah is the mirror image of God. In fact, Allah in Arabic translates perfectly to 'the God'.

Now, to bring my rant to the 'jihad' or 'holy war'... This word has been the powerhouse of practically every conflict in the Middle East, but the Quran never even meant that the 'jihad' be a physical war. The Quran related to the war within oneself and internal conflicts that must be overcome in order to become closer to Allah. The internal conflict is foremost in it's meaning, and has been thrown around too damn freely over the past 1600 or so years that it doesn't even relate to what was, fundamentally, Islam.

I am speaking as a neutral party in all of this, the true infidel of religions such as Christianity and Islam, an Atheist, so I am one who is not implanted with a bias against neighboring religions from birth.

[Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike]

I think that on the multiplayer (Live) end of things, it deserves a higher rating than Halo 2. After only a couple of days playing this game on Live, I was certain that this game is much better than run-and-gun, 100%-accuracy-at-all-times games because you won't get away with running out in the open firing off shots unless you're playing against someone that is doing the exact same thing. I never really played Single Player, but on Live, this game is definately deserving of the title "tactical shooter".

It's got a cool idea about it, but it immediately strikes me as a little empty and simple... At least the text doesn't suck, you know.

By the way, I come from a forum where the sig raters are a little bit harsh in their honesty, and I don't plan on taking it easy.
