[Patch Problems Fix]

Lol I know I'm quite late (looks at the date of the first post) But I got the ""You Allready Have A Newer Version Of Ghost Recon Installed" :when you know 100% you havent!!"-problem.

Do you still have those solutions-patches ??

Well I tried number 2 but after installing DS, I tried to install patch v1.3 and again it said that I already have a newer version .. (tried it 2 times)..

Anyone else with ideas or suggestions or solutions :s

Order of install:

1): GR, patch 1.2, patch 1.3, patch 1.4

2) GR, DS, patch 1.3, patch 1.4

3) GR, DS, IT, patch 1.4

In your case thus 2)

Guess that patching to 1.4 before installing patch 1.3 is where you went wrong.

Unless someone else has a better solution, I suggest an uninstall and reinstall in above order. If so, study the uninstall sticky.

the old version..

I've deactivated DS and don't have IT. I've tried patching the thing with Patch v1.4 but when I restart the game it still shows as v1.2. ... Anyone have an idea ?

Oh yes and after that didn't work I tried to patch it with v1.3 but that told meI had a newer version of Ghost recon and so that patch wasn't needed.

Second problem:

I've tried several mods, SOPMOD doesn't need DS and IT it said, but I can't see the textures of the weapons (they are white) and sometimes Ghost Recon immediatly Crashes to destkop.

another mod I tried was the usmc desert which only worked on DS; but again the textures of the uniforms didn't show up

Could someone plz help me on these 2 weird things

I've tried the link on this page http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=16699 but it seems like fileplanet doesn't have it anymore.. Anyone have a working download link?

Or is there another way to do put the skinned part of a body over a model ?

If not would somebody be so kind to sent it (Skinner tool) to my email ad ?
