1: No 2: No P2 created an actor as a map object. Can be animated to riggle around, destroy map object can make a new animation. Hide map object and teleport in a new actor that can move. Great idea indeed.

sms message from the game shop saying that the PC version is canceled.

No way to do it through campaign mode. Zip each of the mission files up into separate zip files and put them all in the mission folder, with passwords added. Complete Obj X, give a message on screen to the password to the zip file named X in the mission folder. Instruct to right click and extract here. Now check quick mission and it will be there. No need for a installer. Nothing else you can really do.

Shame to see this. COD will probably be exclusive Steam again, or at least fully utilize it. With nearly 4 millions people logging into Steam each day now and rising, you can safely say this will simply irate a lot of PC gamers. There is room to understand the motive, and maybe they can work something out with Steam to resolve this quickly. Add non Steam game to library. This option is there, but you will still have to run Origin plus Steam to play. This is a PITA, just as having to run Steam plus GFWL at the same time for some games. 1 program is enough.

Why is the last piccy the only one to show FPS, and why 510? By the look of it, maybe running low graphics settings.

Played the game a few times tonight and used the editor. Each time OA loads I have the above error, but all works fine. TBH, I will put up with the message for now. Otherwise, are you suggesting I uninstall Arma2 / OA / BAF / PMC and reinstall fully to fix this 1 small error message? Looking at W0lle post. You have to install Arma2, start game. then patch to 1.5 and start game, then patch to 1.7. . Can I just install Arma2, start game, then patch to 1.9? As this seems to only effect OA, would it work just reinstalling OA? If so, does uninstalling OA remove BAF and PMC?

All patches on done, game runs fine. Starting Arma2 is normal. Starting OA I have this: No entry "bin\config.bin/CfgFontfamilies.zeppelin32mono". Not found much info with google.

You can practically run and gun through any of ghost recon / desert siege / island thunder, original missions. Why is it so hard to recreate missions that gave the team the choice? GHOST RECON Squad based battlefield combat. THE GAME OF THE YEAR Really hard to understand why no one has released a game like this? Outside of sims. There has to be a pot of gold for the next PC FPS shooter, that can focus on this oppertunity, no? -

Cheers for the response, interesting summary. Used to have the PS1 and mega drive years back, always played them to death. Then started PC gaming. I can still use the controller if needed. Maybe a year or so back I gave away my XBox and GR2, plus the Gamecube with RE4. You can play for hours and all seems fine, then you play any game on the PC with M/K and it is just so much nicer. If MS would fully impliment K/M support for there games on the XBox 360, I would own 1, probably. Something we will probably see soon with the next series.

Need some advice on a new keyboard and mouse

Had the RAT 3 arrive today. £40, a lot cheaper than the new version, but a better chance to see if I like the feel of it in general. Hard to chuck £100 at something like this, though I was in need of at least 1 new. First impressions is really good, like it a lot. I have 2 mouse here normally, my main PC runs a basic cheapo that never fails, then I have a G5 which I may of pressed down on the middle button to hard once while being hit from some camper,as there was a cracking noise. Anyhow it shakes all over the screen, ok for changing movies with. And navagating though files / folders -
I have Arma2 and OA now freshly installed on a new SSD drive. Both fire up and work fine. Plugged in the external hard drive and and tried to install BAF and PMC from a folder that contains the original download installations. Is this a problem because these 2 items where activated on another hard drive before? Email and serials are correct.

No point in a new topic... Have my nephews PC here and it has a small 40GB hard drive with Vista installed on it. I ran Dban to completely write over the drive, it stalls every time I try it. Put in my OEM XP disc and booted from it. It also stalls loading drivers, not any particular driver, but any at random each time. I put in a spare 300GB Drive I had here, ran Dban no problem, ran the XP disc np. Probably going to destroy the 40GB drive really, happy to let him have the new 1, but am curious if anyone knows why it was failing the above 2 operations?

Does anyone even know of a mission in ghost recon / desert siege / island thunder, you need to 10 minutes for a guard to walk all the way back round and then pop him This guy must of played the battlefield and vilinus mission for sure, no? The original gameplay is going to be made by someone someday. -
I will be buying a new laptop soon for sure. Just waiting for the right model and price. Just looking at this right now Asus P52F Core i5-480M 4GB 320GB W7 Pro Seems a nice price. Video Graphics Processor / Vendor Dynamic Video Memory Technology 5.0 Hmm Can you fit graphic cards to a laptop?

Running this from an SSD drive now. Went to the same spots, overall average, now have this: DX9-High average 74 FPS DX11-Ultra average 27 FPS Still having a tiny stutter per second when running the DX11 settings. Still to test the SLI solution which will be soon. Going to try changing from duel channel memory (2x4GB) to triple (3x4GB) Have to check out a bios update for asus first, for compatibility for memory, if no fun will grab some g-skill.

You have to keep some things simple. I would put the general in his own platoon, then have eliminate the convoy and capture the general. Now you can have obj complete when all members of the convoy platoon are dead. There is no vehicle stopped respose. You can have if vehicle 1 is destroyed, but what if the player does not destroy the vehicle, just shoots the actors. There is a complexed way of adding zones along the path, each time the lead vehicle enters a zone, set a timer, if it does not enter the next zone in X amount of seconds, assume the convoy has been stopped?

Fair do, topic renamed. Yup, Arma is apparently too complicated for those who like small closed maps to play on. Outside of Arma, what is the game we should play? Which FPS tactical game do we play these days? Hope to never play a single mission like that! Well maybe a few minutes works good. Missing the picture here. Once that bit of RECON is done, ghost recon can go wild, bombs, bangs and all the stuff. Get me rosan mission in graw2 was a geat example of a good ghost recon mission. Then repeat a message on screen that player must leave alpha ans soul switch into bravo or charlie. **Tested and works fine** Group: <Default> Comment: Setup Trigger Event: The simulation is starting.
