  1. Mod is in place, always good to add a reamne file and update it each time you release a patch. Contain credits for use from the start. 2 missions look like a good start here in Igor, not had chance to play. I would work on these 2 missions for now, get them up to a decent sp/coop playing level before you start anymore. If we can implement some basic random plans from the beginning it would be good.
  2. You are on the right track. Agree with this. non-serious? You believe the teams at the top of the CS tables find CS as a non serious game? Any game can be serious, with the right mindset. So, forget CS, and mil sims have no place here. What would be the best choice to play some competitive TvT, ladder style games, in the FPS world?
  3. 7 year old topic. May be better next time to start a new topic with a release of your gtf file, plus add link to where the idea/info came from. Looping the players and the enemy to frags only, makes a fun defend.
  4. That one sentance pretty much sums up what is being sought after here to me. Admittedly, a few of us have forgotten about the OP`s point and gone a little off topic in here. However I would say that the OP is talking about serious gaming, more than military style.
  5. Too many links turning up in this topic. I would suggest editing your posts and removing any old links. It would also be a lot easier for others, if the latest download was held in the first post. So I just downloaded 2 mods, the only difference is the missions? You need to make only 1 mod available, then have others download new files and put them into the mod. Or until the mod starts to get large in filesize, just upload a new full mod for all to grab. Right now you have 2 identical mod setups. This is causing a conflict with the sound files. You can only reference 1 single sound file
  6. If only 7 can enrter the vehicle, and 9 play, 2 will start at the insertion zone. However there are plenty of vehicles in the download section you can add to your mod that do hold 9 players plus the driver etc.
  7. So went to login to my YouTube account tonight, worked fine only a week or so ago... Had it several years now with no issues. Please use your Google Account (Email_goes_here) password to sign in. We no longer support signing in with your old YouTube password. Put in my email and password. The username or password that you entered is incorrect. Problem is I never updated the email address, and I have no access to it anymore, it is gone, an old fsmail account.   8. Had a try at the door today with no luck. The door is faulty. Like I mentioned, there are a few in the stock maps that you cannot get a response to work off using the open door trigger. No idea what causes it, never had the issue on 1 of my own maps.
  9. Miss 01- Might be best to have the players insert in the vehicle? We ran up to the river then the mission failed, because we did not get in the truck? (Assumed we had just been dropped) No mention in the briefing. Miss 02 - Plays fine SP, and in coop if alone. More than 1 player coop and it crashes all, plus the server, if using a dedi. Hope to have another look at the weekend. In Igor it looks like a good couple of missions, mod set up seems ok. Not sure about the music folder and music.xml? You cannot change the default music names, your files should be named the same as the original,
  10. HX5 had knives. The only issue with this is that you cannot remove the bullet ricochet sound and bullet mark, without it effecting the rest of the weapons. It is really a gun.
  11. With anything like this always put a display message first in the responses. Then if you get no message you know for sure the trigger is the issue. Which map are you using? There are a few doors in the default maps that I have known to not work right. No need to add destoy_door response. Add an effect (damage(1)(0)) at the door and raise it to 1 M, it will do the job properly.
  12. You can only create weapons with 3dsM. No way to import and edit them. Ebay is about the only place you would pick up the earlier version, going from previous posts on the subject. The exporter is on the ghost recon disc, Not sure if digital versions include this?, or in the download section HERE

  16. Do you guys use TS? Played a few rounds this week. Seems to be only 2 main servers running that have a large crowd. Some guy tonight named London Riots kept getting up onto the hill and glitching. Not a cheater, just a dick, he was shot a one point, then someone spent there time TKing him each time he spwaned, lol. Remind me how to throw a grenade short range?
  17. Hey I will give this a try. Maybe download tomorrow. You know, I have driven just about all British tanks in service up to the millennium.. Never played any game, even Arma, where they actually drive like a real tank.
  18. Are the enemy not supposed to pick up signals from you or your suit, only in close prox? @ the 2nd point.
  19. Yeah I do not like GFWL either. Very poor attemp at a gaming platform for the PC players indeed. But it is even worse when you have to run 2 seperate programs before you can even start your game.

  22. Tried creating the steam.cfg file and adding the code but did not work here. Must be some kind of hack for this out there, but had no luck googling. I find it a little contradicting, you must go on line to set steam to run in off line mode. Does not help you, but a note for future. When you are finished with steam each day, switch to offline mode then close it. This will ensure you can play in event of internet loss.
