  2. There has been a few posts in the past about not being able to create an account with gamepsy. Even had the issue myself recently. Hi Nutty, have you a gamespy account set up? As to the above comments, may want to be a bit more specific in what issues you are having.

  5. You can try VLC Player. Been using it for a few years now, never had any issues with nearly any type of video.
  6. Only scratching the surface here. Want to make the map lighter in general. For info, all maps, night and day have a Sun. The Sun is what casts the dynamic shadows for actors and vehicles etc. Obviously the Sun will be a dark color for a night map. These 2 simple steps make a massive difference when changing maps from day to night, or vise versa.   7. Not really much you can do with a gtf file. You can try scripting off the existing bases maybe. Something ike this should work with some tweaking: Group: <Default> Comment: Setup Trigger Event: The simulation is starting. Responses: Use Player loop to loop over all actors in (The player-friendly company) after this block. Group: Player loop Comment: Setup Player Trigger Event: An actor loop is ready to process This Actor. Responses: Set Player to This Actor. Group: Default Comment: Respawning Trigger Event: Respawn has respawned as Respaw
  8. In the game settings I prefer to show dead bodies, then you know where they are and it avoids this issue. Apart from that you would have to run a block for every actor, actor A has been killed - teleport actor A to Zone hide.

  10. Save Save Save Cmon, even my phone tells me when the battery is getting low. Probably played yesterday for around 30 minutes when it just turned straight off. Lost all progress! Anyhow, had a good few hours today while travelling, saved after each objective, all good. Really liking this a lot.

  14. You can lighten the textures in photoshop. But most important is to put the .map file into the RSE lighting tool and relight it.
  15. Well sry I have never used the env editor, so not sure. You can edit all gr files with notepad.
  16. Nothing special needs to be done here. Add a copy of the POW env file to your mod, map folder. Open it with notepad and replace: <SkyboxFileName>m11_pow_camp.pob</SkyboxFileName> with this: <SkyboxFileName>m05_embassy.pob</SkyboxFileName> You will need to change the fog color too of course.
  17. This does work indeed, however, running too many continueif at the same time will cause what seems like lag. A quick way to do this is below, as you can see only 1 block is active at any 1 time. Group: <Default> Comment: Setup Trigger Event: The simulation is starting. Responses: Set Enemy deaths to 0. Enable the Enemy deaths script blocks. Group: Alarm 1 Comment: Stuff Trigger Event: This block has been called directly from the script. Responses: Disable the Enemy deaths script blocks.   20. Defends are great to play. Not in your face though. We like to sit back and duck hunt. Import your defend script into a mission and then you can add vehicles. Sure many before myself have played with these scripts before. As much as we respect our missions, they are non copyblahblafable. Feel free to edit any of my mission files.
  21. Ha yeah, I am sure these 2 mean to different things: Serious game - A game that is meant to be taken serious Serious gaming - Gamers that like to play any kind of game in a serious fashion
  22. You can make a 4 or 24 mission campaign, if the missions are good, they will play. Most seem to want to play the next mission because they enjoyed the last mission. Keeping the campaign to a smaller amount can give you more attention to work on the other side of the mod. Making lot of missions is good if there is not much else to do. If you can change the title of the topic to the name of the mod.
  23. Is no problem Digging old topics is liked or unliked. Both hold an advantage. As Operative has said, there is no pistols only gtf file in the download secion. New topic here
