UK preorder copy on the way for EU release date
Tinker replied to Pave Low's topic in BattleField series
Pre-ordered limited edition through Origin. Installed and mid way into the campaign already. Really enjoying it so far. Average of 75 FPS in high settings Average of 45 FPS in Ultra Not really seeing anything at all in game different between the 2 settings here, so sticking with the high settings. Only played SP so far. -
[a circle with a number on the] Command Map [?]
Tinker replied to RileyFletcher_01's topic in GR (PC) - General Discussion
They indicate the different levels. If you go onto the bridge then check the CM, you will see it now has a number 2 in the circle. Leave the bridge it is back to number 1. This info is put into the environment file. <kCMLevelIconNodeName> <kCMLevelIconX>41.000000</kCMLevelIconX> <kCMLevelIconY>-130.000000</kCMLevelIconY> <kCMLevelIcon1>1</kCMLevelIcon1> <kCMLevelIcon2>2</kCMLevelIcon2> <kCMLevelIcon3>-1</kCMLevelIcon3> <kCMLevelIcon4>-1</kCMLevelIcon4> <kCMLevelIcon5>-1</k -
Hope to catch up next few days and play here. Tom, have you used the microphone boost in windows? Right click on the volume icon, select recording devices. Select Microphone, turn the boost all the way up.

Take it back and get a refund. Or contact Ubi Support they may be able to help. -
In W7 you have a speaker/volume icon in the taskbar usually. Right click on it and open volume mixer. Under device, there is an arrow down, you can set the volume for all devices connected. Seems to work here.

Pressing F6 is quick save in SP, I see no mention of cheats or anything here? Locate where your save game files are and delete the last save file. Now you can play from before the hero was killed.

Would depend on how much you want that SP experience. Really enjoyed BC2 / SP, I think this is going to be a really good game. There is very little else to choose out there right now for PC FPS players, that like some kind of fun, tactical game. COD is the game i want to play when I want to mindlessly kill lots of tangos. I do not need another title trying to be COD. BF, for me seems to have a refreshing recon side to it, from BC2 experience in SP.

You can always copy and paste one of the original campaign files into your mod, then change the names of the missions / heros. Delete any uneeded lines.

Preload now available for people whp pre-ordered from origin.

You cannot make a team follow the player platoon like that. Will take a lot of scripting, move to next zone player platoon is in.

My speakers are plugged into the rear of the machine. When I use the headphones, I plug them into the front. In my sound card options it is checked to mute the rearoutput device when a front headphone is plugged in. I use Realtek. If the program is not selected to start by default, or is not active when I try to switch speakers, it does not work Then I need to enable it in msconfig, then it will work on a restart, or enable it in services.msc, and no restart needed.

Only had the new PC running Saturday, the results (DX11-Ultra: average 40 FPS) where before all was updated. W7 updates, latest drivers all round. Not sure what did it, but the FPS has gone up by 20. Used the same spot for every test in the past. If I look around fast it drops down to around 50. Other wise it tends to sit at 60 with no issues. DX11-Ultra: average 60 FPS

I steered away from the beta, plus reading too much into the publics opinion of the beta this time. Looking forward to seeing the full version here for SP at least. MP seems to be ruined these days in any game by glitching/cheating, outside of well run servers.

I like any kind of anti terrorists idea.

Would be happy to help with some mission work if you do decide to have another go with this. But understand if not.
-
Look forward to the release, well done with the mod.

Create a new folder on the desktop, install the mod into that folder then move it to your mods folder. Then use the windows search function and type in the name of the mod, maybe it will find it in another location which you can delete if so.

Oh baby! DX11-Ultra: average 40 FPS SLI setup working good now. No other issues. Upgraded the i7-930 to i7-960.

Dedicated Server & Cinematic Questions
Tinker replied to RileyFletcher_01's topic in GR - Mission Modding
Exactly, even worse, if your stray bullets/nades going off into the distance, hit a shadow that you cannot even see yet. Invincible is the bare minimum they need. Bk to the cinematics, never really used them. Although, I have in the past. Recently created a scene in the caves on the caves map. I never had a issue here with switching camera. Will have a try in other rooms at some point. -
Team names can be edited in the STRINGS.RES file. \Red Storm Entertainment\Ghost Recon\Data\Shell

I sent the MB and CPU bundle back last month, They confirmed the MB was defective. Had a refund as the store had no more stock. Bought a X58 Sabertooth and the i7 960, all up and running, all 12GB of RAM is there. At last. SLI solution would not work because I had 2 cards that where the exact same model and brand, however 1 has 2GB memory, and the other has only 1GB. However there is a hack over on the Nvidia site that can fix this. It basically sets both cards to run at the lowest factor. So both cards are now fully running in SLI mode, they both run at 1GB of memory each. Details

About to grab 2 nvidia 580 cards for sli mode. Upgrade from the 480. I think I am seeing correct that the new 590 is actually 2 cards in 1? Will out-perform 2x580, and hits the bank a touch cheaper. Check the video here: Tom Peterson's NVIDIAGeForce GTX 590 Demonstration

Forgot I ordered these! Delivered today along with a spy camera. Must ban late night sales here. Well not too sure right now about these. Been using them for a few hours and fiddling with the settings. Taking a lot of time to get them to work throughout some games, movies, music etc... Teamspeak seems to completely ignore all my settings, and have had to tweak the 3d settings options within TS, but all is good after that. They look awesome, feel great, but the 1 little thing I will pick on is the control box that sits half way down the cable. It looks cheap and tacky, like it bel
