  1. Thats classic! Jesus is a bad motherfu...shut your mouth!
  2. skip class more and when not skipping goto class as late as possible. That ###### was way too boring.
  3. There is a HUGE educational discount. If you attend or work at a K-12 school or university then you can get the reduced price. 3ds Max 5.1 costs $499 with the educational discount. Thats how I got my copy. Creation Engine You can order it there, all you need is a college/school ID or a letter written on your school's letterhead stating that you work/attend that school.
  4. Hey Pic, there is a House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC. I don't know how good it is, I try to stay away from Myrtle Beach and all of SC for that matter.
  5. PANTHERS , GRRRRR baby, very GRRRRRRR.
  6. It could probably be ghetto rigged. It would take some igor scripting, so it couldn't be equipped on just any map. Just make a claymore and code it as a demo charge. When it is placed, script igor to make it blow up if someone comes within 0 meters of the charge. Not a good mod unless you are making some missions also. Cause like I said above the claymore could only be used on a map with the special scripting. You should probably just wait until GR2
  7. Hey flybar I can help ya out with outputing it in a better format. Like not using print_r for the arrays. That would help a bunch. I send ya an email.
  8. If you are looking for a good book check out "PHP and MySQL Web Development" -Second Edition by Luke Welling and Laura Thomson. Cost is $50 bucks , but I got work to pay for it. It has helped me a great deal. But I would say that I probably use the internet as a resource more than anything(mainly the website above). I have picked up php fairly quicky, but I knew asp, sql, and orcale pretty well before hand. I have been playing around with php for about a month and a half. I have almost totally converted my company's access db(which is HUGE) over to php and mysql. I really like PHP and MySQL, it is very flexiable. It is very modular also, so you could have a site made entirely from free scripts. Or some you made and others you d/led(like a forum of some sort). If you have any questions PM me or email me. If I can't help ya I can direct you to someone or some site that can.
  9. N.C. State WOLFPACK. Philip Rivers for heisman. And I have season tickets. Oh yeah it is going to be a good season.
  10. black eyed peas-elephunk Blackalicious - NIA and Blazing Arrow Syncopator: that sucks, why were you carring your entire collection with you in a cab. You at some party or something. I sent my vanilla ice and rod steward cd collections to ya via express mail.
  11. damnit Para if you don't quick posting stuff about OFP...I'm going to have to go buy it. Para and his OFP topics. I got to have money to eat, I can't spend it all on games.
  12. SI-Prozac: All I can say is join the club. Try working 40+ hours a week as a computer training specialist/programmer and add working on one huge total conversion to boot(not anymore though) and many smaller mods for myself mainly. I pretty much stopped modding just cause my eyes couldn't take looking at a computer screen for 8 hours at work and then 5+ hours at home, let alone my social life. It is just the price you pay. And remember you can say no. I finally had to. Oh yeah, Earl gets my vote for the best guns.
  13. Hey ~NkOgNiTo~, What kind of aprilia is that? It is sweet. Is it the new Mille, cause those look awesome from what I have seen. The front looks like an RC 51(SP2 for the Brits). I wish they sold a street legal version of the RS 250 here, I would buy it in a heart beat, even though it is 10 grand.
  14. I hope he wins, then you can say that Predator was a awesome movie b/c it had two governors in it. Yeah I can't believe gary coleman is running for office. Today on MSNBC they said around 250+ people have put their names in the hat.
  15. Yeah I have experienced the same thing on my old crappy computer. I had guns in the 5000+ poly range. My old computer was 400mhz with a 32mb video card and it hardly lost an fps or two with the whole team outfitted with the high poly weapons. But like you said I never tried in in mp so who knows it could be a system hog for 56kers. I always wondered if you can make GR look like a different game if you put a lot of detail and polys into everything(characters, weapons, etc) and made a total conversion out of it. Of course once you get into high poly map making then you do need a higher up system. But you can state that the mod was made for the higher up systems. It could bring a whole new level of realism to GR.
  16. yeah do a Springfield 1911 Operator and a XD(any size). The operator has a light/light rail underneath the barrel. Here is a pic of it. Sorry to post my own work in your thread, i just didn't feel like hunting down the pic from the springfield site. As for the XD, I'll post a pic later, I have to goto work right now.
  17. Oh yeah, I also love the 916/748 series of bikes(and the 996, 998, 999 ...). I think that is one of the reasons I started liking bikes so much. So if I could have any bike I would have to pick this one: The new 999R FILA limited addition. ...dope
  18. And of course something came out in the 90's that greatly reduced the lifespan of a biker. What is this you might ask? The damn cell phone. Soccer moms in vans or SUVs yakking on the celly don't pay much attention to the road let alone other cars and bikes. Defensive driving is the key. I have only rode a sport bike on the street a few times, but I have had many brushes with people yakking on cell phones in my car. I swear I can guess what other cars on the road are going to do next and around 90% of the time I'm correct. Most of the time I know what other people are going to do before they know themselves. I'm not saying I'm a great driver but I haven't gotten in a wreck yet, I have had many close calls, but thanks to defensive driving they remained just that. The problem with defensive driving(in a car, not a bike) is that once you know someone is about to hit you...do you just let it happen? I have almost done it a couple of times when I had a POS car, but I always decide against it.
  19. Dumb@$$ wings. Even if you have a rear wheel car a big wing like those kids have aren't going to do much good unless you go over 100+ mph or so. IMO it makes the cars look crap, plus some of them block your rear view(making those kids even worse drivers). Yeah it is. Also the gas tank is the frame that is why it is so wide. Frame as a gas tank, that kind of scares me. I think the airbox is where the gas tank usually is. Other buells have their airboxes hanging off the side of the bike. Makes it look like a boxster engine with one cylinder.
  20. Hopefully I will be getting a CBR 600 F4i in a couple of months at the latest. Still trying to get my credit in order, waiting on a raise(hopefully), and got to buy some stuff before I have to contribute $190+ per month for the bike.
  21. I have had dreamweaver do some funny things to some of my pages at work. Like any time I made a change to an application page DW always renames the form name to frontpage_form2 when it is suppose to be resapply. But I think this page was originally done in frontpage so that would cause I problem(read below). Also I had some trouble with dreamweaver removing some of my coding in a echo statement in a PHP doc. Everytime I would save it, DW would remove a quote and some HTML code. That was a good hair pulling session. I keep getting the same error message for 3 hours, but the line of code was right. I finally realized what happened and have stopped using DW for PHP since(the only reason to use DW for php is the code coloring). But DW is an awesome piece of software. As for frontpage it is a POS. It adds a good 10 or more lines of useless code to a page. Plus a bunch of other dumb stuff. If you have to use frontpage, use only frontpage don't switch between editors. I think all of the code added by frontpage(like themes) confuses other editors. Bottom line use notepad instead of frontpage. As for a good resource, the internet is the best resource around. There are millions of sites with HTML tutorials, forums communities specific to HTML that are just as willing to help ya as GR is with modding, etc. And of course my best learning tool many, many years ago was "view source." See how other people had coded their pages. But that was when the internet(in its current form, not the text one) was first starting so the code was just straight html and easy to read. Now it is hard to learn HTML be looking a other people's pages, b/c they use PHP, java, mutliple tables, etc, etc which make it had to pick out the basic HTML tags that every page needs.
  22. Yeah, I was about to say the same thing. It is kind of like comparing sports records(HR record and such) from past and present. You can't really do it. Although I don't know much about ammo, I would guess that bullets and rifles have improved greatly since Nam. And especially sniper bullets and rifles, along with the training too.
  23. Actually it is possible. If you are in a plane 10.5 miles above the ground and shoot it at the ground. Yeah Hathcock had the record, but I think I remember someone posting that some canadian broke that record in the 'stan or somewhere(if that was true, I have no clue). Hathcock used a modded 50 cal machine gun right, was it the ma deuce? That is hardcore. Edit: Found a link to a story about the sniper. 2430 meters was the record breaker.
  24. Go for it dude, sounds like a chance of a lifetime.
