I did the skin tutorial and yet when i go into ghost recon and click on the character i made it just shuts down ghost recon? why please help me out i know i followed the instructions exactly

hey all i wanted to know what programs i should use to get starting in creating new skins for ghost recon? please list the programs for me thanks
