I would say so. You know the health system (green, yellow, and red) I never had my health yellow or red on hard because when I got shot I died. I think I got wounded maybe once out of the whole missions. So that gives you an idea

Also when in cover you only can take a few shots before you get hit so you really haft to be careful. It can be very frustrating, I actually had more fun playing on normal

I have beat the game on normal and hard. I got to say the game has a great single player experence.
-
Never said i wanted excessive blood or even gore. I said i like the old way of GR1 it wasn't alot just enough to know you hit! So pls dont put word in my mouth! All i ment was if they bring it to Mature we might get rid of the arcade feel and at least get it back to GR1 standers and not a Solcom wantabe arcady game as it turning out to be.
So adding more blood would make it not arcade

Ever play GR:JS? Its basicly [GR] gameplay thats a T rated game. Even if the developers want it rated "T" they can still bring back the game to how it played in [GR].

Im sure it's to late also, but im sure ready for a mature rating anytime soon! All these teen rated games are getting old!
Maybe the next GR the guys can make a special GR back in the 80's. Like No Arcade of any kind and bring back the old GR blood effects with a mature rating! Maybe even bring back the name of the game "Ghost" "Recon" (stealth) back also! Sorry about that even knowen i love GR im slowly starting to forget why i love it in the first place. With everything getting taken out and turning into Solcom (Arcade & Teen rating)! I still like where GR is going, but think it should be under a new name becuase it just aint GR anymore and with that Teen Rating there well always be that arcade feel in it so yes im ready for the mature rating!
The rating has no effect on how good a game will be or how strategic it will be. I would take all the first Rainbow Six games over RS3 and its blood effects any time. Did you ever think the developers did not want to have excessive blood and gore? Maybe they also want to bring new people into the franchise? Tons of extra blood adds nothing to the gameplay. All there needs to be is enough to know you shot someone. And don't even say it keeps little kids away. I ran into more kids in Halo 2 than I ever did in any other game.

Its a fake. Someone posted it on the xbox.com forums and said he used photoshop.

9th March for the US 360!

I'm pretty sure its already been rated by the ESRB. The ubi.com website has GRAW(xbox, 360, PS2) as a T rating. But the PC game has not been rated yet. It says it has blood so thats fine for me.
-
Is it me or did they change OTS view from GR2. It seems like anytime the guy walks up to a wall or object it zooms in. I hope this is the case then there will be no peaking around objects/walls.
-
What can we expect from the leaderboards in GR:AW? I thought GR2 and GR2:SS had very simple and useless leaderboards. I hope you guys added details like kills and deaths and maybe even stats for co-op modes like RS3.

There is a difference if you have HDTV. I have a SDTV so it looks the same except there is less aliasing. As for the slowdown I said about GR2SS I think its just the game because I played it on xbox then 360 and the gameplay is the same. It is playable I played a few online matches and I was not at a disadvantage at all. The splinter cell games play well except for Chaos theory that has some problems with the single player and co-op mode. Not a big fan of halo, I have Halo 1 around somewhere but I traded in H2 it was just not my kind of game.
-
jchung,
The 360 does not "improve" the graphics. It simply increases the resolution if you have a HDTV and it does use FSAA (anti aliasing). So you may notice a little improvement if your gaming on a HDTV or a Monitor. On a SDTV you most likely will not notice any difference. As for performance I can't tell you about [GR] and GRIT since I traded them in before GR2 came out

At least I have a PC copy

I have played GR2SS and I actually think it runs a little slower than on xbox but then again it didn't even run at 30 fps all the time on xbox. As for gameplay the controller works perfectly with all the xbox titles.

Yes it is a misprint.
-
Why are you posting this? The game has been out for almost a year I think people know about it.
-
Almost every xbox game is 480p compatible. Just because it is not checked on the back does not mean it is not supported, many times those boxes are not correct. I'm positive GR2 is 480p. Here is a list of HDTV games:

Stupid AI, 3rd person- im glad GR2 didnt come out for PC.
I wanna play the maps so bad though, they look great but not with a controller. I was watching the guy play and he sucks really bad with tactics..walking out in the middle of the road, shooting a group of guys and shooting the enemy thats actually shooting last, walking past enemy, not covering looking both ways before running. The thing is though is he survived, if this was GR1 he would have been dead in the first 30 seconds.
Yeah the AI is not very smart in GR2, also 3rd person is a option you can use FPV. It looked like he is playing on a easy mode, even in GR2 on hard he would have not lasted long. The maps look way better than GR2 ever had. And if you like keyboard and mouse you can get an adapter for xbox so you can plug them in.

There is a new multiplayer preview and new gameplay videos at gamestop.com:

In Summit Strike, we changed some UI elements. The answer is "no." The chat box was on the left. We changed it to the right because the death/kill feedback box is on the left.
The player join box is also on the right, but lower.
Nice, I really appreciate you guys taking in the feedback from the gamers. That join box got me killed sometimes in GR2 lol. The game sounds great.

I noticed one thing from the box art page, there is now blood in the game. I think I recall reading a interview where they said you will be able to tell when you shoot an enemy. I really don't care about blood, just as long as I can tell when I shoot someone. This game is looking very good.

You can get on the roof in the dam level, a guy on my list can do it. When I get a chance I will ask him to show me how to do it and I will tell ya guys.

Sounds good to me. Lets hope they put foot prints in the snow so we can track people and sneek up on them

Just beat it.

Since you have or will finish the game before going to hard it will be easier for you. I started on hard so that might of had something to do with me getting angry at times from dieing over and over again.
