Just got Raven Shield
though haven't played it yet. I've read about the 1.1 patch, but I can't seem to find it off the offical site. I've gone through all the menus and everything. Anyone got any ideas where it is?(I know it is way off topic and off site and I should probably sign up to agression but for the sake of quickness I didn't)

Sad to see someone so fed up with a community that they actually pack up and leave.
I've been playing online about 6 months, and it is only recently I have noticed cheaters. Is it coincidence GR gold has recently shipped? Me thinks not. These are people who picked up the game for about half what I paid for all 3 seperate games, and can't get to grips with the teamplay/control actions of the game but want to get their moneys worth, so go online and ###### us off.

When I was in my second year of secondary school, I started to rebel a little. I shouted out (what I thought) were witty comments, didn't concentrate fully on what I should have done. On the subjects I didn't like I just coasted, on those I liked I put in 90%. On the day I left school, I didn't have a clue what I was going to do. I didn't want to go to uni, what would be the point if I didn't know what I wanted to be?
Most of my friends went to university. The levels for acceptance in uni's are now so low it is no longer "higher education" but standard education. ANYONE can get into a uni, it might not be the best, but you will still get some sort of qualification at the end. We had someone recently join us from a graphic design course from a local college. I don't know what the hell they were studying, but she didn't have a clue about doing any work for print. Aye she could draw pretty pictures but I mentioned the word CVC Pantones to her, and her face was blank. I didn't know what a CVC pantone was, but then I never had to know that.
Sorry this was a bit of dull story and I doubt anyone cares that I was a $"!^ at one point during my school years.
I agree with warhawks comments on failure. It is essential that a child/student learns how to fail. Even the cleverist students will fail at something at some point. I heard a while back that on one english exam the students didn't have to spell words correctly to get an A. Surely thats a bit essential to English?
However bad the youth of today look, I think it is only a minority, but one bad apple can cause a lot of disruption to the rest.
I can't understand how these kids get on when they leave school. If they can't be bothered to do an exam, how the hell will they be able to hand in that 45 page manual to the client that is coming for training in 4 days. The amount of times I have worked late recently because I wanted a project to be excellant and not just okay I would have trouble remembering. The amount of books/forums/websites I have read to know more that what I need so when in the future someone says "Hey magnum, you know what such and such does?" I can say "Why hell yeah I do sonny, stick that in the hole over there and stand well back". Don't think that I am some highly paid corporate exec, I'm just a reasonably well paid staff member, looking to do better in a small company.
Most generations complain about the generation following, and I am sure as hell worried what our society and social interaction is going to be in 20 years time.

I got my 10 meter swimming certificate, and I once got an award for 100% record attendance in my first year of secondary school. I suck at GR, but thats not the point.

Sorry to be off topic but...Are you a man u. fan? I'm don't like any particular Premiership teams, I just like to pull against man u. and arsenal. I do like newcastle beer though 
I am not a football fan so I am not bothered by any team, but for services to international football Beckham has got to be mentioned. However, I do especially hate Chelsea due to their fat, pompous waste that is Ken Bates.

I'm not saying that the Americans are mean spirited at all, but the ones I have seen always look very worried about being in such close quarters to Iraqi people. I believe it has now "calmed down", but then again I haven't seen any war coverage for about a week now (although I have seen the news about 5 times, I guess SARS is the new "Beckhams Thong").
Yes, my exposure to US troops is limiting, and I can only see what I find. In my defence m'lud I pass numerous US air bases regularly, and the guards (or whatever you call them) look a little "angry" at those coming into their base. My dad agrees and he regularly goes into these bases. Just an opinion though. (I guess I'd look angry if I had to stand at a gate on top of jeep all day.)

You should have saved a couple of replays from that session and looked at the difference, that may have helped you.
I was hanging out on one of the Battalion Command SAR servers, and they have modded it so if you tk, you get a chicken and firey legs, which is nice. However some pysco was on the other night who was running at twice the speed of everyone else, and killing all his team with no chickens or fire for him. Clearly he was cheating, then as soon as an admin came in he left, so he never did get banned. His name was Alcholic, but there could be other Alchos out there so don't assume until he starts acting a %$£".

Yup sure does. BUT think of all the effort and work and time and money goes into creating a site like that. I've never played there but I know it is highly rated.
If Rocky starts charging to post in these forums, he will either be very rich, or we all go to the platoon.
