Its okay I've sorted it. I've also created some little favicons so that when a web site gets added to the favourites you get a little image in your favourites (it also appears at the beginning of the address bar, like the e with the page behind it on most lists). Give me a shout if you want one Rocky.

Okay, I thought when he said he didn't go hunting in the sandbox he meant that he didn't find her there, but clearly I'm stupid and he meant it in a way which suggested she was older. I'll just get my coat.

I agree, many people thought that the IRA were "freedom fighters" (I can never forget reading about the New York parties that were held for wealthy business men to donate to the cause ) It just depends who you think is right.

how realistic do u want ghost recon 2 to be?
magnumkp replied to cajun47's topic in GR2 PC - [Cancelled]
My 2 biggest gripes which I know they will sort out is the night vision, where tangos stick out like they are on fire, and glitching in bunkers. Whats the point of having bunkers when everytime you go in them someone shouts that you are a glitching? I don't want too many weapon choices, I like the fact if you have sensors, no nades for you or if you have the oicw you can't have throwing nades. Makes you think what you select on each map rather than always having the same thing. e.g. IMO the oicw with the nades is no good on a small map, as you usually have a better job at chucking them over -
As Will Smith sang in Men In Black 2 (Black Suits Coming, Nod your Head) Lets play nice and singalong.

I'll add to this too, some interesting stories, but where is Fuhrer Rocky? Anyhoo, mine doesn't come from the gun thingy but comes from Magnum Photos, the photographic magazine (http://www.magnumphotos.com). I was watching darts one day on TV and all the guys have nicknames (Phil "The Power" Taylor, Dennis "The Menance" Priestley etc etc (a bit like wrestling)) and I thought, god, what name would I have, as you do. So I selected magnum (lower case looks a bit more deadly don't you think? I believe it is the double curve of the m) as it sounds a little dangerous but is also reflecti

I have created a little exe program to sit on my desktop, but I would like to create a special .ico file to go with it (I will also be sharing this exe program) so I need to know how to apply the .ico to my exe file, so when I put it on cd it will be there.

26-18= 8!?!?! Thats illegal in most countries. My favourite misheard lyric was from Elvis Constellos Olivers Army, which instead of Olivers Army, I somehow had Oliver Zonk. When I look back I don't know how I done it, I was 5 at the time.

I was an extra in Ghandi... So NC did you get your name from X-Men or Judas Priest? Might start a topic on how people get their nicknames. Might not though.

Excellent thanks for everyones help. Those tangos had better be scared of me now.

Thanks for that. Now you can see how stupid I was thinking that Alpha, Bravo and Charlie were terms for the Gold, Green and Red terms. Now, as soon as I figure out ###### Zulu is I'll be a bit further forward. Seems to me like a Super Go Code. Good luck with getting Agression back up Rocky, as you can see there are many dedicated players waiting for help, assistance and some decent online IP addresses who don't have a fit as soon as you mention 56k.

Okay, I've bought Raven Shield, or as some like to call it RvS, so I will also do that. Any hoo, I bought the game and did the training (twice as I got confused ) I then attempt the first mission on easy, or recruit or whatever it is called. Now I proceed with the default plan of action, as all those way points and options made me . So I start the game and about halfway through someone on one of my other teams die. I retry the mission about 1/2 dozen times till I finally succeed. Hurrah. But, I haven't tried anything new, just load the default plan and work the way through it. It was luck.

When I type something into the address bar in IE it always tries and completes it for me, but usally I don't want that. I thought it was the advanced tab option In-line Auto Complete but that is unchecked. So what is it? Also whenever I open IE it signs me into messenger at the same time, which is a bit of a problem as I occasionally let my family use my PC (aren't I nice), so as soon as I start IE up it says 10 new messages. I have gone through the Options tab in Messenger (v5) to not make it start up in the background etc, but it is still happening. Is it just me or is XP aimed at com

Adaware will find and remove all your spyware, which if you are getting popups as soon as you load IE sounds like what you have. Probably installed with a program like kaza, audio galaxy or something similar.

I'm a bit worried about people round here. Phil Collins and Scooter in the same thread? Only Phil Collins song I want to remember is You Can Wear My Hat, but I was going through a bit of a trilby phase at that point, you know how it is. Scooter? Now that seriously causes me concern. Do you have a maxed Nova? I'll stick with my Clash, Jam, Oasis, Blur, Manic Street Preachers, Shirehorses, Stone Roses. Yup proper indie boy me. Also making note to self to pick up Electric Six album, and a Ross Noble tape (I know he's a comedian but thats what I want to listen to as I will now have to drive for

If you get popups everytime you open IE it sounds like some form of spy/scum ware on your system. Get lavasoft Adaware 6 and it will get rid of all those nasties for you. Hopefully.

I got the OFP GOTY edition with the 2 expansions. I played the first 2 packs, but got onto the third and got very stuck as you have to find virtually all your weapons. The best bit is the detailed squad command, telling them to be aware and watch horizon and part of the team flank left and part right. Also the size of the maps are incredibly. It takes about 5 minutes to fly from one side of the island to the other in the fastest helicopter. Its a good game, I'd like to play it on MP but 56k is completly unsupported.

Longtass you be careful trying to use a Commodore with GR. I heard of one guy, got it all installed lovely and working like a dream. 3 days later he didn't show up for work. Never saw him again. Milk piled up on doorstep, papers stacked in the letterbox. Police went round to check it out, turned out the tape drive spat out the CD right into his chest, cut him straight through. Okay, I made that up. He didn't have his milk delivered. -

I have used the MS one before, but really it is what feels comfortable to you. PC World usually have a few out of the box for you to test. (You can then buy them cheaper online). I used 2 at the mo, my Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse (I think it is called, its big and blue with for buttons) is very good, but smaller hands will cause you problems. I also have a basic 3 button optical mouse which is also good. Up to you I'm afraid.

Think it is around $2000, but not sure though. Remember that virtually all electronic goods in the UK are well overpriced. We are paying around $15-20 a CD if we are lucky. Companies blame it on shipping in parts (as non of them are built in Britain). I blame it on fat cat corporate ######h0l35. The camera I want (Fuji S2 Pro now you ask) is around $1,985.00 in the US (from Amazon) and in Britain is $2,228.60 (also from Amazon) and $2,706.50 from most high street stores. At least we have better TV though. Sometimes. (Rate calculator: http://www.x-rates.com/calculator.html)
